    The Alpheridian's were aquatic. Maybe they weren't known to surface species?

    Jeth sold me. When I saw his haunting Arkanian visage in a preview page, I bought KOTOR just from it, and in time, the rest of that saliva-artful series.

    I take personal affront such a cool looking species can be named Hanna [/i]Ding[/i]. But you always see authors naming people after collegues. Like Shadow Hunter's "Dahl Peri". :p

    agreed, whatever its faults, TOTJ had visually intriguing aliens, many still unnamed

    Alpheridians live in the Alpheridies Sea, are aquatic, and only have one female at a time. Obviously not the same as the Miraluka. However, WEG says the Miraluka are the only species on Alpherides and that the planet has no other species. Perhaps the Alpheridies Sea is NOT on the planet Alpherides, but is a homonym? This sounds like a Leland question;)
