God what awful results. I only agree with the Best Fight category and the Best Male Performance category.

Well I'm not surprised anyway, I mean MTV is just a big celeb tool nowadays,what else would explain that scientology freak Tom Cruise getting a "Lifetime Achievement" award or some crap.

 

I fyour'e just figuring out now that MTV is a stupid waste of everyone's time and brain cells, and that it actually makes you dumber the more you watch it...Well, then, you're stupid.

lord of the rings is terrible.

actually, its probably not terrible, but its not really that good either. the amount of recognition it gets just makes me angrier because it wasnt that great. so perhaps i am exagerrating. or perhaps not.

That list is so repulsive. Revenge of the Sith should have swept every single one of those awards, even the ones that aren't applicable.

RotS isn't eligible until next year's show.

That show used to be funny. I remember the first one with Dennis Miller when he used to be funny. Now it's just obnoxious.

 

What about the Revenge of the Sith parody? I thought it was funny.

 

I saw the ROTS parody last night. While flipping through the channels, my attention was caught by the Mustafar scene.

Nothing more than a slap in a face if you ask me. That's the most emotional part of the movie and for them to parody it, just lack of taste. I watched the show unfortunately and couldn't stop cringing.

 

You could tell that when Lindsay Lohan won, Hilary Swank was just seething beneath her huge smile. And for a good reason too. Lindsay Lohan isn't a good actress, she gets parts because she's hot. And Hilary Swank had a great performance in Million Dollar Baby. But she looked positively evil.

 

At least Dodgeball won an award!

 

WOW, what a piece of **** award show. The movie awards even used to be fun, and leave it to MTV to **** that up. 2 things totally bothered me. Napolean Dynocrap won best picture. Shows what type of demographic still watch's MTV. I only watch the Movie awards, so don't say I watch it. Second was Katie Holmes. WTH Tom, she just showed when she presented you that she is a complete idiot. I hope the sex is good buddy, but I don't get that move. You can get better tail than that. Hell, go after Jennifer Aniston, Brad is done with her now.

Don't take it so personally, it is a joke. I loved the ROTS scene, this was just done in good fun. Don't be so serious about it.

The parody is the only part of the show I watched, thankfully I arrived at the right moment.

I thought the ROTS parady was funny.

The rest was pretty lame though.

 

The Architect scene in 03 was good. I even laughed during Panic Room and FOTR parodies, but ROTS, though inevitable, was just not that great IMO.

It was the Mustafar landing platform scene. Jimmy Fallon was inserted over Hayden. Natalie and Ewan were the same. So while Padme was crying, whining and choking, Fallon was making amusing comments.

Jimmy Fallen plays Anakin on Mustafar and it's intercut with the actual scenes from the movie where Padme meets him.

Only in the parady Anakin has brought a place on mustafar and is trying to convince Padme they should live there.

There was some good play on words in it.

Padme: Obi-Wan has told me things. He said you went to the dark side.

Anakin: Dark side. Hey, it's called a tan. I live on a volcacno planet you know.

Padme: He said you killed younglings.

Anakin: No, I said I killed at Yon lings. The hottest asian comedy club in the galaxy.

things like that which I thught was pretty funny.

Also on the Padme choke scene Anakin/Fallen was trying to decide whether they should get a large or small cup holder and not noticing that Padme was choiking. He was making his hand in the same fashion as Vader does when he force chokes someone.

When Obi-Wan came on the scene he tell him to "Let her go!" and Anakin replies: Opps, sorry, I forgot to turn off the force.

 

MTV is a joke..Fans pick those awards, so it goes to show what kind of retards are voting for Lindsay Lohan as best female performance, the Mean Girls as best on screen team, etc.

I pray for the day MTV goes off the air.
