This movie was funny. I like the part where he throws the orange at his uncle.

 

I think that one of the best moments when the cow is shot.

 

Napoleon had some pretty sweet skills... you know.. like bowstaff skills, computer hacking skills... girls only want boyfriends with great skills like Napoleon. ;-)I wish I could find someone like him... GOSH!!! Flippin idiot!

 

I think this movie is funnier in hindsight, and when other people repeat what was said. When you're actually watching th emovie though, nothing is really laugh out loud.

 

I agree Vaderbait, its one of those films to me its good you watch with several people, all who have kinda a demented sense of humor.

For example, pretty much my entire family likes this movie and quotes it.

 

In a three page thread, only ONE person has mentioned the dance?! That's the BEST PART of the whole film!

It's definitely a movie -- and a character -- that grows on you. When I started, at Napoleon's first line I was totally annoyed. I gradually started being amused and with "I see you're drinking 1%...is that 'cause you think you're fat?" I was completely engaged with the character. And the dance sequence was the greatest payoff ever.

I could go into all the interesting filmmaking value about it, but no one cares.

The "Your mom goes to college" line has spawned in my group a slew of "your mom" comebacks for completely useless things.

"I'm hungry."
"Your MOM'S hungry."

It never gets old.

I loved this movie! My friend just did the dance Napleon does at the end for the talent show! Oh my God, that was such a hit! He did it perfectly and everyone was standing up clapping for him! He's pretty much the most popular kid in school now because of this.
Of course, all we do now is quote Napleon Dynamite at odd times.

I just saw this movie for the 2nd time. I love it!! I think Pedro and Napoleon are awesome. Its just so different from everything else out their. Thats why its as big as it is. Its one of my favorite movies.

 

I love the part when hes was ridding with the Latino Gangsters in there Car to pick up trisha. I also love the other scene when one guy was being picked one by the parking lot the Lation guys show up in there low-raiders.

That was Hella funny.

Last night I had a strange dream. I dreamed I was back in high school and I was hanging out with Napoleon and Pedro. It was the coolest dream I've had in a long time!

 

a kid came into where I work and asked for some oil for his bike
Me- "What kind of bike do you have?"
kid-"a Mongoose"
Me- "Lucky,,,,,ever take it off any sweet jumps?"

the kid had no idea!

 

If somebody asked me what kind of bike I have,I'd say "It's a Sledgehammer!".
