anyway:

sachiel noticed eva 01 chargeing at him, but first he snapped eva 00 waist. he threw the damadged eva on the ground and prepared for eva 01s attack. he projected a particle beam. the beam missed narrowly, but still singed the evas armour.

Louis Wood's Squadron took off. They flew a pretty wide formation. He could see the Eva and the Angel fighting like giants in an old fairy tale. "Open fire!" He ordered when they came into range.

An AT feild may be able to block beams but can do next to nothing agains't a volley of missles, it would simply be a matter of the Eva distracting it so it could'nt block or evade while a well placed shot went at it's torso.

 

actually, the missles would blow up on the at feild.. lol. but it would distract sachiel, and possible blind him for a few seconds. buying shingi a little time

 

?REIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!? Shinji screamed as something overtook him even as he was filled with hatred for this entire project. The thought of Rei being possibly dead drove part of him crazy even as his synchronization skyrocketed?

There was something primal in the Evangelion units that responded to his blood lust.

He threw every ounce of his strength into the Prog-knife strike against the Angel even as his mind cycled through images he didn?t understand. The Evangelion units responded to rage better than any other moment even as they also caused long lasting psychological damage?

But of course the committees still had yet to determine that over their long-range study.

The AT-Field crackled around Shinji for the first time as his strategy was one that was rather blind; stab the thing and just start beating on the beat until it was dead?.

Images of Rei haunted his brain?.

Oddly inter-splashed across his vision were images of a brown haired woman in a lab coat who looked remarkably like Rei. He hadn?t known her very long but he found her remarkably like this strange figure in his dreams?.

Whom somehow was familiar and comforting to him, she was quite beautiful.

?DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIE! DIE! DIE!?

Shinji?s Evangelion unit launched forth in a jump

Charlie sighed as he walked over by James at the control center as he brought his coffee to Commander Fuyutski and Commander Ikari.

?This coffee is late!? Gendo said sneering even as Charlie ran away in terror back towards the Magi.

?Man, not many people I know can project pure evil.? Charlie muttered. It had been amazingly embarrassing to get all the way to being launched only to discover that the Unit hadn?t had its plug created or outfitted with any external generators?

?It never would have worked anyway. You would have interfered with your music,? James said. ?Besides Unit Four?s pilot Karou-sama hasn?t arrived from America yet with Unit-4.?

Charlie ?Shut up, I just made a complete ass of myself?.who by the way are the fly boys??

Charlie said watching the squadron.

?That?s the NERV air force. They deliver the N2 payloads and use the top of the line weaponry against the angels in a joint Nerv/Japanese Security Force unit. The Evangelions are still the only useful force against an angel but they provide valuable sensor data and also on occasion can slow them down,? James said.

He was still reeling from the images of Rei that were flooding him from the Magi?s reading of Shinji?s brainwaves.

?Is the blue haired chick alright?? Charlie said sipping his mocha.

?I negotiated the circuits to break upon Commander Ikari?s orders?.? James was privately very grateful to the man ?And Lieutenant Makoto ejected the entry plug. I?m currently selecting the most efficient form of recovery from the battlefield the pilot.?

?You sure do a lot here,? Charlie muttered. ?So how long til I can fight this thing??

?Indeterminate.? James wished the man would leave him alone.

 

gendo: makoto, send a message to the fighter squadren. their new mission it it retreive eva 00s pilot and salvage the eva. the pilot is priority!

makoto: yes sir!

as the eva leaped at the angle, sachiel amassed his legs and jumped into the air. the eva stumbled and fell to the ground. sachieil landed on the evas back. it noticed the cable sticking out of it, so ripped it off

"AHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" Shinji screamed as he barrelled against the ground feeling the pain of the rocks jutting against his face like they were his own.

'Who the hell designed this thing anyway? Why would you put the ability to feel pain into a piloting console?' Shinji wondered not for the first time as he felt the thing on his back.

'Oh my kami, oh my kami, oh my kami...' Shinji realized this thing was on him as he heard then a voice.

"SHINJI!" and he took a deep breath.

"It's legs! The Magi determine a 70% possibility!" another voice shouted as Shinji nodded, making a grab for them as he pulled them into a vice and fell back on its back.

"All I've got to do is squeeze...." Shinji said as he saw then his power chord had been severed and the time was running out.

Shinji tried to move his arm around the beast's side as he put the Eva's knee to its back....

And pulled....hoping it would snap the thing in two.

"DIE YOU BASSSTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTAAA...!"

This thing had hurt Touji, had nearly killed Rei, and good heavens knew what it would do to Asuka if it got hold of her.

IT WAS TIME FOR SOME PAYBACK

"The Units are performing remarkably poorly in actual battle-field conditions," Commander Fuyutski observed.

"Yes, the decision to focus on construction rather than than developing the Eva's response time seems to have resulted in much lower battle efficency. Unit-01 is the only one that seems to be responding normally and we know the reason for that don't we?" Commander Ikari muttered.

"I don't necessarily belive your hypothesis commander, I'd rather not." Fuyutski said. "There's also something else wrong as well....the angels are more powerful it seems."

Gendo chuckled "More powerful than you can possibly imagine and they will only get stronger."

James looked over at Commander Ikari 'A top priority....you care nothing for her you incestous pedophile. You deserve to die for half the crimes you have committed here.'

"Helloooooo Earth to James," Charlie waved his hands in front of the man. "Man the tabloids will have a field day with this. One pilot attacks another pilot, two Evangelions stall, and only one is actually seemingly fighting."

"The newspapers will never know. Commander Ikari has already requested the altering of battle-field footage to provide solely a Unit-01 attack," James answered

Misato turned around and looked suspiciously at the strange boy.

"Glad to hear Big Brother is so concerned about his image," Charlie chuckled. "God that Maya chick is hot."

James looked at Charlie oddly...

when unit 1 gabbed his legs, the angel fell backwards. it stuggeled to get up, but by that time the eva was already ontop of him.
the eva then began to happily rip its corps apart. blue blood spilled all over the streats.

auska: shinji stop! stop it! *about ready to puke*

touji watches horrified as unit 01 bites a chunk of flesh from the angels body.

the eva chin dipped with blue blood and let out a roar.

everyone on the main nerv control room watched the screen stunned at the image. none of them spoke.. they just watched as 01 riped the angels limbs off.

ritsuko: so its begun. unit 01 has become a beserker..is this all part of your plan mister ikari?

gendo: of course.. were going just the way it should.

fuyutsky(sp? lol): sir... mister ikari. the 4th angel that we discoved in the volcano will mature soon... what should we do?

gendo: not yet... dont talk about that here! reclassify it as unknown..

fuyutsky: yes sir. sorry sir.

gendo: and what is this kid doing in the control room! get him out! fuyutsky come with me. the commity has arranged a meeting and it starts in 30 minutes.

fuytusky: sir, but hes are the eva pilot..

gendo: send him to the sycronization testing chamber. surely he has work to still be done. run another sycronization test.

fuyutsky: yes sir. charlie, you heard him.

gendo and fuytsky walk in a back room.

Charlie lifted his coffee mug and said "Righto Commander!" he saluted him "I'll report immediately."

When they had entered the elevator he said "Assho..."

James paused a moment as he got up and headed towards the elevators where Doctor Akagi was heading.

"Don't you have post-battle work to do?" Ritsuko said to the boy sharply.

Maya whispered as she printed out some pages "What does he do anyway?"

Makoto "I don't know. Apparently he's some kind of data-cruncher for operating multiple-evangelion units at once."

"That KID?" Maya said.

"We already have them piloting giant robots, why not doing computer work?" Makota gave his only explanation. He had to admit it was difficult coordinating even one Evangelion Unit with the equipment they had yet they'd successfully gotten all the data transferred to the various Evangelion points with only mild pause for three of them in unison. Whoever he was, he was good.

"I am already complete with the assembled data which has been forwarded to your office and laboratory Lieutenant," James pronounced laboratory slightly sinsisterly.

"I prefer Doctor." Akagi sneered. She'd hated this abominable freak ever since her mother had introduced them when he was five. He wasn't truly better than her at anything and she was still the greatest of scientiffic minds on the Earth probably yet the way her mother had DOTED on that child while ignoring her filled her with rage.

Misato "Uhhhhh...Ritsuko, is something wrong?"

"Oh nothing! Nothing! Just heading up to the Evangelion synch ratio tests! We need you checked Charlie and all....and I'm sure James needs to get all the information recorded to send off to his masters," Ritsuko said smiling.

"Masters?" Misato tried to look like she wasn't seriously creeped out.

"Masters, as in the highest honored title for a teacher Captain Kasaragi. Doctor Akagi has never liked the university professors where I was educated and I was an honor student there. They are jealous of her work and rightly so," James said politely "I have always admired the designer of the Magi."

'Now the little scumbag is covering for me! Reminding me my mother designed what has made my career!' Ritsuko covered it all in smiles 'Your a spy for Seele and I won't let you disrupt this work!'

Misato "Right....Well I'm sure we'll all be close friends soon!" Misato hugged them both together as the two scientists blanched in horror and uncomfortableness.

Charlie wondered what the hell was going on with his old friend "Well, good to hear it! See you next door tonight Captain!"

Charlie wondered if he could stop by unannounced, she was beautiful...admittadly no Maya but still.

James paused as he listened to the Magi calculate Rei's likely injuries, he knew he would forego these tests to be at her hospital side even if she did not know anything about him. He did not understand why. He would also have to check Unit-0 for damage and console her this night....

"I may be a bit late. I won't be attending the synch tests doctor today. I have...personal business, Thank you." James walked over to a seperate hallway to the medical ward as Akagi watched him lead.

"What a weird kid," Misato "OH WELL! Takes all kinds!"

Charlie smacked her posterior as Misato stared down at him "Do that again at your own peril."

OOC: I'm switching Shinji over to a friend of mine's portrayal. This will be my last post of him. I may play Rei later on but she's open as an NPC or PC right now by all means.

Shinji loved the taste of the Angel....it was like Pork and the blood sweeter than anything he'd ever tasted. He rejoiced in the blood spilling when he broke the Angels back and then simply....lost control. When he actually regained consciousness he was being pulled out of the entry plug and his conscious mind forced him to throw up even though he really hadn't eaten anything but LCL.....and that too tasted like blood.

"Oh kami-sama..." Shinji choked as he became wheezy and then fainted.

the eva looked over at the red eva. it had a look of hunger in its eyes..

the eva lunged at auska. auska kicked it. the eva fell on its back.

auska: you idiot! stop this now!

aoba: misato, it seems that the pilot is no longer in control of eva 01! its attacking auska!

misato: how much longer will its reserve power last!?

aoba: another minute and 15 seconds. i just hope the eva dosent hurt auska befor then..

the purple eva, 01, grabbed at auskas neck.

the red eva grbbabed at 01s arms and held them, stuggeling to keep them away.

auska: dont make me kill you shinji! i will! dont think i wont!

the evas bloody hands kept getting closer and closer to unit 02s neck...



(ooc: to the person playing shinji: you can still talk to auska, but the evas gone mad...)

in the second episode, shinji wasnet really fighting the angel. it was mainly the evas doing. (the pilot was kinda half unconcious)
so when it gose into beserker mode, everything is an enemy to it.

(plus its really really hungry)

 

Louis Wood's fighter landed beside the remains of unit 00. Louis was instructed on how to open the thing on his way over to it so he wasted no time. Louis found that the pilot was a beautiful, young girl. Unconcious with some visible injuries but still...

Louis lifted her up and put her in his cockpit beside him. "Wood reporting." he spoke into the comm "Pilot secured, have a medical team ready at the hanger."

With that, the squad lifted off and flew back to base. "What'd I miss?!" Louis Commed into HQ.

"Now the red one's fighting the purple one!" exclaimed another pilot. "Let's just pull back, we can't do nothin' here!"

"Copy." Replied Wood and the squad zoomed back to the hanger at maximum speed.

 

Thanks for not nullifying my post, good drama there! Poor Shinji is really going through the ringer....

I was just assuming after his bezerker rage that poor Shinji sort of went down. We never after all saw Shinji fighting his fellow Eva and the Bezerking of Unit-00 was always directed solely at Gendo and Rei...

(Besides Shinji was nearly unconcious every time he was bezeking, save when the dummy plug was involved and that was possibly just Gendo's orders)

One point though...

stukov_mengsk you seem to have a very specific ideas about what you want out of this RPG and what exactly should and should not be in it. This is of course the moderator's perogitive and your telling a great story here.

Buttttt...I am curious about flow elements and all this back and forth. Could you do us a favor and maybe post what sort of freedom we have with characters under our control, introduction of plot elements, etc?

It would help us players of Eva-characters to actually know what you want from us. That way we can RPG out the elements you introduce like in table top RPGs where the DM says "You are now chaotic evil"

PMs might also make it interesting.

If its alright, I'll be using Asuka and Touji as NPCs here too.

"WHAT THE HELL IS THIS THING DOING!?" Shinji shouted in the womb of Unit-01. He was feeling the rage of Unit-01 even as Asuka flashed in front of him and he felt all of his desire for her and his anger at her treatment of him rush forward "CUT THE DAMN CONNECTIONS! I DON'T WANT TO FEEL THIS!"

James blinked as he stared to the screen 'Hmmmm it seems Mrs. Ikari dislikes her son's choice in companion. Or senses something about Mrs. Soyru.'

"FIGHT BACK ASUKA!" James shouted.

Gendo "Do not give orders without my approval boy or you will be removed from your position as EVA-Magi information coordinator. This is your only warning."

James lowered his head.

Misato was torn by her feelings.

"Unit-01 must not be harmed," Gendo said.

"Unit-01 has priortiy?" Makota blinked.

"Permission to shut down Unit-02 then," James said.

"Granted," Gendo said.

Charlie blinked as he was led to the side of the room by armed security as all power was shut down to Unit-02

Misato blinked as suddenly Asuka's futile efforts to fight back were stunned as the connections were broken.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" Misato shouted.

"Asuka now won't be feeling whatever it does. There's a 13% chance now that she won't be killed when its done with whatever it is doing...." James said. He doubted the Second child would ever forgive him though

There went his chance to ever date her.

"Order Captain Louis's squadron to immediately swing around and drop bakalite solutions on Unit-01. I want it stopped before we're beyond the point to regenerating Unit-02." Gendo said.

"FATHER MAKE IT STOP! ASUKA! I'M SORRY! PLEASE....ASUKKKkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkaaa! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Shinji cried and said "ASSSSUUUUUKAAAAAAA!"

Misato "What the hell have you made here?"

 

Louis's fighter made a sharp turn as he received the new orders. Rei stirred and made a quiet moan but remained unconciouse. Louis became ashamed of himself. "Of course, gotta think Louis. That's why you've been chosen for this position" He said to himself. The Squad turned around and Louis commed in "Starting my run sir. Bakalite Solution is ready."

They moved over the Evas and dumped the liquid onto 01 which was now strangling 02. "Confirmed splash, HQ."

 

Hi Everyone, I'm Charlies replacement for Shinji since he'd like to concentrate on another character. I have seen all of Evangelion except the video game. I hope I can do the character justice. Anyway on with the post.

It had been some time after the battle with Sachiel.

Days after.

He expected to be yelled at by his father. He didn't. He knew it was coming from Asuka.

He wanted to see Rei but couldn't push himself to go see her in the medical ward. He heard she would be released today. He knew that she would not make any effort to come see him. The images of the brown haired woman flashed through his mind.

That few minutes where Unit-01 went berserk and everything was fuzy and he couldn't remember much, but he did remember the flashes.

He knew this woman but could not put a name to the face.

He was brought out of his muisings as both Misato and Asuka came in the door. He looked up from the kitchen table to see the pure hatred in Asuka's eyes. She wore a medical collar to help her neck heal from the pressure trauma she received from syncing with her Eva.

He felt a unfamiliar pang of guilt for Asuka. Not the usual but something deeper and it startled him.

She went directly to her room and slammed the sliding door shut. She hadn't said a word to him, which means she was REALLY pissed off.

He let his head hit the table again. "Don't do that to yourself Shinji." Misato said as she sat down beside him.

Shinji remained quiet.

"It wasn't your fault the Eva went berserk. There was an abnormality in the sync ratio." she said trying to make him feel better.

He shot up from the table so fast it scarred Misato. The chair fell over backwards and crashed to the floor.

"Yeah there was an abnormality, AND I WAS IT! I don't deserve to be in that monster! I hurt the people around me that are on my side! I don't belong in that...that THING!"

He then walked to his room where he collapsed on the floor shaking. He had no idea what had come over him.

A few hour later he came out of his room and knocked on Misato's very softly. He kept his head down as the door opened. "Yes?"

"I'm...I'm sorry." Shinji said meekly.

Misato stepped forward to give him a hug but he stepped away. "No, no I don't deserve this."

He turned around to see Asuka standing there. He expected to be struck or at the very least verbally abused by the fiery red head. But she just stood there and looked at him.

He finally broke eye contact and went back to his room. Misato closed hers quietly.

And for a brief moment there was pity in Asuka's eyes.

he hold up a folder that says "top secret"

he slaps it on the table and a few photos slide out. he shows them to gendo.

there was one of unit 00 attacking 03, one of 01 attacking 02, and one of unit 01 eating sachiel.

seele member 1: why should we waste our money develpoing weapons that cannot even be controled!? these evangelions cant be relied upon if they attack their own!

gendo: this problem can be solved. give us some time..

seele member 2: weve given you 15 years!

gendo: this is the first actuall battle. weve never really tested the evangelions befor. now we have data to use to correct our mistakes.

seele member 3: well you better. if another incident like this happens again we just may have to shut nerv down..

gendo: with out nerv, the angels will roam freely all over tokyo 3. what then will you do? use n2 mines?

seele member 2: we are already developing a sulution to our problem. soon nerv will be replaced with a supirior company.

gendo: we are the only organization with the technology to break through the at feilds..

seele member 1: thats just a matter of time. we'll find a way.

gendo: huh.. out of curiosity, what are you planning to replace us with!?

seele member 1: you shall soon see. the "jackalone(ooc:sp?)" unit surpass the evangelions.

ritsuko was in the evangelion hanger inspecting the evas for damage.

ritsuko: ok maya, unit 01 needs a new left chest plate.. 00 needs repairs done to the neck, along with 03.. and do something about the blood on unit 1.. i hate the smell of blood...

maya: yes mam. i will inform the mechanics to do their best.

ritsuko walked out of the hanger.

ritsuko: i just hope eva 01 dosent get out of control again... we could lose one of the pilots..

the next day at nerv

misato sat in her normal chair with her legs resting on a table. ritsuko was typeing a document of somekind.

misato: its been weeks since an angel attack..

ritsuko: i wouldent be complaining. we need breaks some times ya know..

misato took a sip of coffe. it was cold..

misato: ritsuko, is the coffe always cold!?

ritsuko: if youd actually get to work on time it wouldent be.

misato:.. mmph..

 

Rei Ayanami's Hospital room

James Brody visited the blue haired girl every day when it didn't interfere with his position and the private communications with the Magi. Thankfully, she did not have the ability to track him down when he did not her want too. He did not know why he was hiding things from his mother but he assumed it had something to do with residual guilt left over through racial memory.....Rei was female, she was approximate age to him, she was injured due to actions on his own part, he had no personal reason to dislike her....

He did not want to know why these bursts of feeling occasionally swarmed him and did not like him.

They did not talk really, for three days she had been comatose. When she had woken up they had simply stared at each other for seven hours before James had left to go to dinner. Later they had talked about weather and after that Jewish Kabbalism vs. Heremetic and the merits thereof when compared with other religious practices vs. purely secular interpretation...and finally they'd discussed paint.

This day though he'd mentioned Shinji and found that she wanted to talk about him a great deal...and did so at great length though haltingly and in the most factual manner. James had hated that.

He'd been about to ask her about Unit-00 when Gendo Ikari had walked in with a bouquet of flowers and a concerned look on his face which quickly turned sour before he said "Get out."

James had obeyed even as he paused when Rei raised her hand and had started to mouth the word "No...."

But continued on when the door shut behind him, accidentally running into Captain Louis.Wood. The man occasionally made a visit himself and James had been impressed by the man's concern, even if he had an instinctual dislike of most people.

"Excuse me..." James said, looking up at the pilot.

Synch-tests

"...also if you EVER try to play music again or smuggle something unauthorized in I will personally see you court-marshalled and sent home with a cavet you should never be allowed near the military or a science facility again!" Doctor Akagi finished her rant as Charlie Barton floated in Unit-05. Unit-04 he'd never seen but he'd understand it was reserved for someone important, a White Eva of surpassing beauty....he hoped it went to Karou or his old friend Mana whom he'd went to school with.

"Yes maam," Charlie muttered as he clutched hold of the synch tests and concentrated. He wished James was here. Charlie wasn't sure if James was a friend or not since the man he was sure would be alright with someone driving a knife through his chest but he depended on him to give him advice on how to use these stupid controls....now he just had to concentrate.

"Thirty five percent....you're barely within minimum requirements! Can't you do any better!" Doctor Akagi said.

He tried to get his mind off girls, his embarrassment, and FOCUS...but instead his mind wandered back to his mother. Gillean Barton, the victem of his father's temper had died in a 'car accident' it had been said outside NERV United States but Charlie had always suspected something far worse from his General father. Charlie had hated the man's cruelty and intolerance but most of all...he'd hated the fact he had absolute authority over him and occasionally imagined him being crushed by Unit-05

"Good job Charlie! You're up to 60%! That's fantastic...."

Charlie focused on his hatred as the Unit continued to respond favorably, it was almost....like he was home in some ways. After that point he tended to average in his fifties with occasional spikes.

Apartment 7#, one door down to Apartment 9#

Later that day

"Sweet Mother of....is this an apartment? Back in Texas we'd call this a closet!" Charlie muttered as he carried in his boxes.

"Actually, it's alot bigger than my old apartment. You guys have really moved me up in the world," Makoto said as the Corporeal carried in his own

 

A few days later school was resumed and Shinji decided to go. As he walked there everyone was looking at him and whispering.

It seems Keisuke was able to record a part of the battle and had shown it to the rest of the class and in turn it had spread through the school like a wild fire.

He ignored most of it. But couldn't help thinking about what they were saying. He couldn't tell exactly, but his subconscious conjured up the worst. "There he is. I hope he doesn't go berserk."

"That's our saviour from the Angels? I'm moving tonight."

These were just a few of the things he thought people were saying about him. Another thing that threw him off was the fact that Asuka opted to walk with him to school today.

She said it was just coincidence that they were leaving at the same time but Shinji wasn't quite sure. She had only been slightly abusive this morning and he was surprised that she was really disgusted with him. Because this was the only explanation he could come up with of her not wanting to communicate with him in any such way.

They arrived at school and still everyone was looking at him and whispering. He was starting to feel the effects of such treatment. He saw Rei sitting in her usual seat and she stood up to come over to him.

"Hello Shinji." she stated.

"Um...um..hello Rei." he stammered out. "I'm glad your ok."

"I suffered minimal damage. I was in no real danger. I heard about Unit-01."

This caused a flash of anger in Shinji as well as fear. "Yeah, I don't think I'll be piloting it again."

"You have to stooge. It's orders." Asuka said acidly. She had followed Shinji over to her own seat.

"I don't want to put you two in danger anymore." Shinji replied.

Asuka actually looked shocked. Rei regarded him with quiet resolve. It looked familiar to him.

The class bell rang and Hikari instructed the class to take their seats. The class ensued and Shinji didn't realize that Touji was starring death through the back of his head.

When the bell rang signaling the end of class. Shinji left to go out side. He was going to talk to Rei some more when he was confronted by Touji.

"I hate Japanese, I don't intend to live in Japan when this is over, and I personally think the teacher's peculiar focus on Third Impact is denying the fact that America saved everyone's ass afterwards," Charlie muttered at lunch. "Thus I personally don't see why I have to attend this incredibly stupid school."

"The Third Impact was the deciding event of our generation and do not complain. You don't have three degrees at this point in Bio-science, Metaphysics, and Computer Science. Why myself and the Lady Asuka are being forced to attend this ridiculous excercise in ennui is something that I question the value of beyond getting us out of Makoto's hair," James muttered eating his sandwhich.

"Well I admit the hooker was a bit much but I wanted to thank him. I even had her dress like the Major," Charlie shrugged. "By the way, why the hell are you so talkative?"

James stared at Rei as he blinked and drank his milk. "I am merely attempting to be social."

"Well stop it, its freaking me out worse than when Karou tried to shower with me," Charlie muttered. "So you sweet on blue haired girl or not? Cause if you are I can declare her off limits like purple girl is Maks." Charlie muttered eating his hamburger....stupid fake meat replicas. He of course had declared red, Maya, Doctor Akagi, and the class rep off limits for himself but no one really wanted them either.

"YOU PUNK!" Touji grabbed Shinji's shirt and punched him in the face. "YOUR STUPID PILOTING NEARLY KILLED MY SISTER!"

He then threw him down and kicked dirt in his face. "YOU STAY OUT OF THIS BLUE GIRL! I WOULD HAVE KILLED THE ANGEL IF NOT FOR YOU!"

Asuka was trying to interject when Touji said "And he nearly killed you! So shut up!"

Charlie got up then as James sighed, this wasn't going to go good.

"Hey Touji?" Charlie said walking up in slow japanese.

"Yeah?" Touji turned around only to be slugged.

"Pick on someone your own size!" Charlie cracked his knuckles, of course Touji was as big as a tank for a fourteen year old but he was a military man's son. It was then he was tackled. "ITS THE STUPID Scientists moron! Blame them!" Charlie muttered as the fight went on and the American fought Dirty while Touji kicked and punched much harder.

James meanwhile walked over to Rei's side as she offered her hand to Shinji.

"Are you functional?" Rei asked.

"Uhh...yeah." Shinji said.

"Do not blame yourself for the altercations though I myself do note that the blame Charlie puts falls more on me than it should. Suffice to say though the bezerking should become less common...." James muttered.

"Less common?! It'll happen again?" Asuka said.

"If you are about to die, I am very sure it will. I for one am glad of the possibility for I'd very much hate to see you destroyed," James said before claming up.

"BONZAI!" Charlie said falling down with an elbow and missing.

"STOP MOCKING OUR CULTURE YOU AMERICAN FREAK!"

It would end with both of them with bloody noses and black eyes before the day was out.

i only found one problem with that post. dont feal bad though, i make mistakes like that all the time. its actually "the second impact" not third. the third happens in the movie end of evangelion.

but otherwise, nice story going so far. i like to read these big thurogh posts..

the long red angel hovered over the lake leading to tokyo 3. missle turrets fired madly at it, but all failed.

mokoto: majior! its another angel!

mistato spat out her cold coffe.

misato: right now!? shinji and the others are at school! get them over to the geo front imediatly! GET THEM TO NERV NOW!!

aoba: sending a message to the school now mam!

the insectiod like angel sliced its way through many buildings unitl it was directly over nerv headquarters. it noticed the eva launch pad, and started to poke its whips into in and burned a nice hole in the hatch. it began to crawl down the eva launch tube.

tag: lets see what you do with that.. lol. should be interesting...

still at school, and an angels crawling down to nerv.

Though his encounter with James was brief, Louis did convince James to host a party at his apartment on Friday with promises of Girls, Booze and the like. But now an Angel was attacking and was too close for Louis's Squad to do any good. Oh well, at least if they all died it wouldn't be his fault.

 

Nerv Headquarters

James Brody walked into the control room even as alreadt the Magi were booting up their power controls and EVA links.

"Yeah, fat lot of good you are..." Aoba muttered as the icy boy gave him a stare that could kill plantlife.

[What fools these mortals be. You are late and I don't appreciate you abandoning me to visit the freak] Doctor Akagi sr. spoke into his brain.

James disliked being found out [I had to make sure mother that she was everything you decided. Adolescence is a period of questioning.]

[Your determinations then?] She said sharply.

[She is an Angel. A conglomerate of matter that has no human soul and which is designed for our destruction.] James spoke literal facts.

[Good.] His mother bought that fact without his mentioning she was actually also wonderful.

"Are you going to dispatch all the Evas again?" Misato asked as she turned to Commander Ikari.

"That proved to be a gross error in judgement. The Evas themselves have not yet been coordinated to work together and Doctor Akagi has pointed out personal differences that may result in the Evangelions mistaking each other for angels until the pilots are trained to overwhelm the Eva's natural instincts," Gendo Ikari spouted nonsense.

James had been the one to nearly kill Rei and Touji, if not Asuka. Asuka had simply got in Unit-1s way. Thankfully the S2 engine had been destroyed in the process and it didn't get what it TRULY wanted.

Only Unit-00 would have the S2 engines and thus rule the world as a goddess in Third Impact.

Charlie started walking in before Gendo made a gesture to have him dragged away. "Drag him up to Unit-05. Doctor Akagi will say whether the...troublesome unit....is ready yet. In the meantime Shinji will go alone."

"What?" Misato said.

"WHAT!?" Asuka said in Unit-02 "You've got to be kidding me!"

"Take comfort if Shinji dies then you can go out. I'm officially keeping you, Rei, and Touji in reserve for very specific reasons." Gendo Ikari murmured.

"AND WHAT'S THAT?" Asuka said.

"Because you're units were all nearly destroyed!" he slammed his fist down. "Unit-01 is possibly the only fully operational one! Where are those damn reports on Unit-04 and 05!"

Kozo Fuyutski put them down "They are right here sir. The Fifth Child Karou will be arriving ahead of schedule. Also a few semi-trained pilots in case we require a reserve."

"Good, Carry out your mission!" Gendo said.

James wondered how the party would go friday as he began coordinating the Magi information into Unit-01

 

misato: hum... makoto, have we pinpointed the angels location?

makoto: yes mam. its makeing its way through the 2nd launch tube. launchin eva 02 would be impssible, but we dont have to worry about that right now. its near the 4th level now. we have roughly 30 minitues befor it breaches all the armoured shudders.

misato: so, whats our statagy?

makoto: we wont be able to stike from below... we could launch eva 01, and have it go into the launch tube, and attack the angel while its stuck in the lauch tube with its back turned... the angel would be to big to turn around.. but we couldent get to the core...

if we send it up, it will be able to attack its core, but then the angel would be able to attack.

misato: well ask the magi...

misato inputed the current situation and information into the magi and suggested both modes of attack.

makoto: we dont know yet what kind of fire power this angel has.. it could blow eva 01 away...

misato: your right.. but we have an idea. it has some sort of super heated device.. because its melting through the armoured shudders..

makoto: we better get shinji in the eva now. we only have 23 minutes till it reaches nerv

misato: right.

on the speaker there was an announcement.: all nerv personel, evacuate sectors 4-8. repeat, evacuate 4-8. that area is the designated arival zone for the 4th angel.

misato recived word that shinji was in the eva.

misato: EVA LAUNCH!

Louis glanced at the wall as he wandered the halls. Sector VI was painted in bold dark letters. "Ahhh crap!" He exclaimed, bursting into a sprint.

 

This happens just before the Angel attacks and then I'll link it in to the other posts.


"May we accompany you back to the building?" James asked towards the end of class after the end of the altercation.

Just then all of their cell phones went off with the special tone of NERV.

"Ah crap, why so soon?" Asuka whined.

"It seems the Angels are attacking more frequently." Rei put in.

"Great observation wondergirl." Asuka snapped back.

Touji and Charlie were already running for the car that just pulled up, the air raid sirens starting to sound.

Shinji had not moved from where he lay on the ground after Touji had hit him.

"C'mon Shinji, they need your sorry ass there too!" Asuka called.

"I'm...I'm not going."

Rei, who had started to walk to the car, had stopped and was watching him.

"WHAT! What do you mean your not going?"

"I said I'm not going. I will not pilot that, that thing again." He looked right at Asuka. "I hurt a lot of people last time."

"Well we're just going to leave you here then."

Rei stepped forward then and extended her hand. "We need you Shinji Ikari."

He looked at her for what seemed a long time. Finally he sighed and took her hand. "Alright, but if the Eva goes berserk again I want you to stop it any way you can." he looked at both of them real hard. "Any way you can."

Asuka smirked. "Nah, that would be too easy in my Eva. Rei only nodded.

They made it to NERV headquarters in record time.

Shinji was in the change room putting on his plug suit. He looked over at Touji and involuntarily winced at the black eye that was slowly making itself visible around his left eye.

Touji looked up to see Shinji looking at him. "If you go berserk again, I'll kill you."

Charlie stepped in before Shinji could even blink. "Big words coming from a man who's Eva isn't fixed yet."

Before they could get into it again there was a knock at the door, it was Misato.

"Hurry up, the Angel is 45 minutes away!"

They made a quick run down to the cages and there they found out that only Shinji would be going.

"What am I suppose to do? How am I supposed to defeat it on my own?"

It was more rehtorical questions as he was sure no one had the answer for. He looked up at the giant purple and green monster that stood before him.

He had great loathing for this thing and yet he could help but feel protected by it, ever since it sheilded him and Rei from the falling debris so many months ago during an accident.

He was pulled out of his muisings by Asuka. "Well when you fail I'll take care of the Angel in a flash."

"Shinji you'll do fine." Charlie drawled.

Shinji nodded and proceeded to mount up into the entry plug. "I musn't run away." he said quietly to himself.

The plug finished docking and the plug filled with LCL liquid.

"Ok," Shinji said as the system configured to his brainwaves, "let's do this."

"Shinji's in Unit-01?" Misato asked.

"EVA LAUNCH!"

"Be careful Shinji." Asuka whispered. She thought no one heard her but Rei smiled, ever so slightly.

Shinji was forced back into his seat as the Eva pushed it's way up against gravity on the powerful electrical rails towards his inevitable confrontation with Shamshel.

Nerv Headquaters
James frowned at the technicians that had usurped his right to be the coordinator of Magi information to the Evangelions. He ignored it though since it meant that Mother was punishing him for his prior insolence.
"It woud appear Commander that Captain Louis is located in the same sector of Nerv head-quarters as the Angel itself," James said.
"Tell Shinji to ignore him. The Captain is expendable in the grand scheme of things despite his piloting ability," Commander Ikari sneered as he stared forward.
"I do not think that Pilot Ikari will respond favorably to such a statement," James replied. "His psycho..."
"You're not being paid to think. Coordinate and be silent." Commander Ikari sneered.
James lowered his head and did so.
[Please Pilot-Ikari be mindful of the fact that you will be in a populated area. I've requisitioned the spear-prototype for your hunt here. I'll send you any warnings that you might need should you require them....] James willed his thoughts into the Eva's computer units.

Unit-05's Tank
Charlie had given encouragement to the poor stupid boy who couldn't stand up for himself before heading off to talk to Doctor Akagi to see if Unit-05 was finally ready to rock and roll. He personally liked Shinji alot and was used to bookish guys who couldn't throw a punch from his time around James. He personally didn't blame Touji too much for wanting to hit something, he would have done the same....well if he had a family....
Unfortunately his meeting with Doctor Akagi didn't go very well...
"YOU PIECE OF ****!" Charlie shouted at the huge green horned Eva up to its neck in LCL. "The Second Angel attacks and what do we get? THE PARTS HAVEN'T ARRIVED FROM GERMANY YET!"
"Karou's White Angel has priortiy they say. The big stupid winged thing with lipstick is almost done....BUT ME...who is actually here...HELL NO!" Charlie continued ranting as he walked up and down the walkway.
"So they tell me they have to SHIP YOU off to Germany and you'll be ready with Unit-04 when it comes all the way down on a battleship across the Mexican Sea. YOU ARE STUPID FRE..." Charlie took a moment to make a cross across his chest.
"CAN YOU DO ANYTHING RIGHT?!" Charlie screamed at it even as the Angel caused the building to shudder, leading to massive amounts of rocks sailing down towards him...
Rocks caught by Unit-05.
"Woah...." Charlie blinked as he stared up at what the Evangelion had done.
Rei, Asuka, and Touji blinked at the action that only Rei and Shinji had witnessed before.
"The Evangelions recognize their own." Rei said softly. Rei also noted that Unit-00 was curiously slumped over, she shuddered for her Evangelion was the one thing she feared.

The Chamber of Gauf
[James's orders forged provided the perfect opportunity to move my soul from Unit-00 for a time and the neurosurgery insert will allow me to move back and forth again and again...] Doctor Akagi senior thought to herself as she tried to move away the fear. She was a woman divided....her consicousness existed in the Magi but her soul was trapped in a terrible limbo in Unit-00 while her Body did not exist...
Or at least did not until now, the very form she hated most.

It would be too dangerous to leave now but once Adam was returned to Nerv headquarters it would be time to begin Insturmentality, HER insturmentality.
Rei-body 17# floating in the LCL adjusted her face from her mindless sister's smiles to one of psychotic torment before moving her soul back to Unit-00 and her consciousness.

She would not even have to worry about the loyalty of James anymore.
