Liam Hemsworth is such a bad and crushingly boring choice for a recast. Not that I care. This show is poodoo.

 

He is a good actor and has given great performances.

 

I like him as Thor and such. But he just seems wrong for this role. Chosen likely because he’s the biggest (physically and reputationally) actor they could get.

 

He was the first choice before HC. And you think of Chris Hemsworth who played Thor.

 

Oh, yeah, right. Anyway, they’re basically the same people.

 

But only of them inspired Miley Cyrus to write the biggest music hit of last year

 

I do wonder if they will skip over the random chapters of the books with soldiers and such. More Geralt and Yennefer together for sure. Maybe Ciri has flashbacks and visions. 2 seasons with 8-10 episodes for the last three books will probably work better then if had one season a book as not mutch happens. Many of great directors from season 1 are returning.

 

Why do I still check this thread when it brings me nothing but pain? Self-loathing? A subconscious sadomasochistic streak?

 

Anyone seen Liam Hemsworth first look.it looks good. And maybe now we can begin see some chemistry

 

Lol, he's dismissing some of the best bits that show the excellent world building (I mean, the Battle of Brenna is the best chapter of all, and it doesn't contain any of the three main characters).

Basically, tell me you don't get the books without telling me you don't get the books.

 

Lol i have several times and you can skip those random chapters and dont lose anything.

 

The Battle of Brenna is the best part of the entire series. Books are not a mercenary exercise in plot delivery.

 

Battle of Brenna is a great chapter, but didnt care for the small subplots before it with random soldiers. Also its part of maybe the weakest book in the series.
