ST New Batch of Rumors from 4chan/Reddit ; "SpoilerMan Leak"

people are ignoring the obvious its' Palpatine.

 

I think that the title has multiple meanings and I speculate that the ebbs and flows of the Force are reflected on a galactic and even political level. The PT and especially the OT were referred to as "Dark Times". The Dark Side lorded over and clouded everything then. All that was good in the galaxy was all but wiped out and evil took hold and reigned.

I speculate that after RotJ that the galaxy at large took a bit of a breather and that with the passing of Palpatine and Vader that perhaps the Force kind of took a breather as well. I further speculate that when we get to TFA, that whatever the "awakening" of the Force is, also begins to heat things up on a galactic level.

 

Sometimes the simplest explanation is the best. The rumor is false.

I was also entertaining the idea that Uncle Owen somehow survived, but it seems much too stretchy.

 

That is A LOT different than " I hope these new films have no ties to the PT whatsoever...". That just makes you sound like a hater.

 

or what if he made a mistake and his character is actually a Rebels character, either an established character or a character yet to be shown.

 

Yes, these boards, I think, are getting tired of PT haters and OT haters and ST haters.

In my opinion... Darth Plagueis...'The Wise'...EU is 99.9% changed and his body was ruined because he dared to play with the dark side. He will also introduce us to True Baddie - Andy Serkis.

 

I've learnt from previous rumors not to take anything as set-in-stone true.

I've also learnt not to discount then either.

 

maybe he's Cad Bane.

 

Andy Serkis most likely will play a character who once worked at Sidious' secret Midichlorian Research Labs.

I do like the idea that the Republic may be building a superweapon this time. But I think we've heard that somewhere else before, like most of these rumors -- what here is new exactly that's big?

So if I am correct he is what...80 - 85 now? ST
So in the OT era he would have been 50 - 55
Aotc and Rots about 30-35
Tpm he would have been about 20-25

...is that about right?

Now we just need to figure out of the 2 PT eras who fits the bill...

 

I think it's mostly the characters spoilers that are really new, the rest not so much.

 

Yes, because what happened is, after Anakin threw him down the chasm, he had himself frozen in carbonite and ejected into space mere moments before the DS exploded.

I'd love to see Hondo but the problem with most TCW characters is the same as most PT characters, it's highly improbable they'd still be alive. The only one I can think of is Lux Bonteri, at least for MVS.

If tptb keep the tradition of keeping details set by the EU, most aliens have lifespans similar to humans. Weequay (Hondo) only live 80+ years.
