Not only that, but you had either Laurinaitis, or Maualuga sitting there for the taking and they draft a running back. WT*?

The offense puts the Colts into the playoffs every year, but it is beyond obvious that defense wins championships - which the Colts sorely lack.

I'm a bit perplexed by the picks the Broncos have been making. Most thought they'd be using the majority of their draft picks on the defensive front 7. After 8 picks (and only two picks left in round 7), they've drafted only 1 DE/LB and 0 DTs. They seem to have found some great players at other positions, but I would have liked to see an inside LB and defensive tackle in there.

McDaniels is probably going to get a ton of criticism for trading next year's first round pick to move up and get Alphonso Smith, a 5'9" corner, but he seems like the kind of guy who knows exactly which players he wants and will do what it takes to get them.

Denver still has the other first round pick next year, right?

I hope that the Eagles acquiring Ellis Hobbs isn't a precursor to Sheldon Brown leaving. I am not impressed by Hobbs; he's usually good for one good toasting every Sunday.

I just don't understand the Cowboys with 12-13 picks. They all will not make the team , and you do have to offer them money that goes on the books this year for the cap. So in a sense if even half made the team, we are also taking a hit by half our picks on the cap without even making the team. I think we should have traded some for the draft next year or to move up. Just a little confused.

I'm glad Succop got drafted, even in the so-called "Mr. Irrelevant" spot (seriously, aren't all the undrafteds more irrelevant than the last pick?)... but why take him when a clearly superior kicker was on the board in Graham Gano?

Yes, they still have the Bears' 1st round pick next year. After all the trading they did in the draft, they still have a pick in all 7 rounds next year.

Being a Raider fan...I am used to the criticism that most of the time Davis deserves....

But how gutless was the coverage of the NFL network...

They had a segment basically backtracking on their comments of the Raiders drafting Mike Mitchell in the second round.

They found out the Bears were going to take him with the 49th pick. Mayock apologized, and everyone around the table, including Jon Gruden goes into a Davis love fest!

So I guess the Bears are there to validate the Raiders draft huh? What a joke!

I say...let the kids play a year or two before you judge them....I would have taken Crabtree too, but Heyward-Bey was still going to go in the first round....Its not like they took a scrub a #7.

Obese-1-Ka-Blooey and us CAL fans know what kind of player Heyward-Bey is...he torched Thompsen and CAL this year!!:(
