Ahsoka Official Ahsoka Series Discussion (Spoilers Allowed)

I am really hoping they are NOT Mon Cal ships...they just seem to be over represented throughout the GFFA.

Time travel already occurred in the Mortis arc. Heck, it could be theorized that Yoda alluded to it via visions through the Force back in ESB.

 

Going through the trailer again, I like the distant shot of the city on Lothal (in its fully built-up state). In Rebels, that same view never quite looked like a city to me, more like a massive ice sculpture.

 

So excited for this. Possibly the most excited I've been for a new SW project since TFA.

 

Agree with the anticipation for Ahsoka. Great teaser trailer, for me just a slight notch below the first Obi-Wan Kenobi trailer.

 

I honestly would love for Kiner to score a Star Wars film. Some of his music from Rebels, TCW and BB is up there with John Williams

 

In Japanese, though Mandarin and Japanese share a Kanji base.

In regards to Shin Godzilla.....
Producer Akihiro Yamauchi stated that the title Shin Gojira was chosen for the film due to the variety of meanings it conveys, such as either "new" (新), "true" (真), or "God" (神).

Anyone else loving Ashoka's ship? I think its a brilliant design.

 

GL would certainly have had Talon in it, since he planned to have her and Maul together. But I like these Dark Jedi, especially Shin Hati, she reminds me of Anakin in her starship scenes:

 

Going a bit more into the names Baylan Skoll and Shin Hati, and the possible norse inspiration that they're lone wolves, and one who chases the Moon, and One who chases the Sun ... there's this art that looks a lot like .... Twin suns.

Wondering if Hati is Skolls daughter. Or there's something else going on here. Maybe some alternative time line where the Twin Suns prophecy is something different.

In relation to Sabine's longer hair, there was a comment about it at one of the panels on the Twin Suns stage today (8th April), during the Star Wars Creator Cosplay Workshop:

Maria Sandoval (hair designer) said there is a story reason for the different look, which should become clear when the series airs.

 

After the last few SW projects that had descent trailers but failed or are failing to deliver actual excitement I just say I’m in wait and see mode on this.

 

Indeed. The Mando Season 3 trailer was way better than the actual season has been so far.

 

Filoni loves Ahsoka, he’ll make the series good. She is more important than Mando.

I don't care that it was a half second, my 46 year old ass has been waiting since I was 15 to see live-action Thrawn. And it was totally worth it!

The two darksiders are a mystery, and welcome new blood. The Lothal scenes teared me up, they look so much like the Rebels finale.

Ahsoka's Thrawn introduction was over-the-top cheesy, but I loved it all the same. Very Star Wars.

This is the project I've been looking forward to far more than ANYTHING Star Wars has done since the EU was decanonized. Can't wait for August!

 

Its the opposite for me. I know little of Thrawn, but the short scene gave me chills and now I must know about this Chiss and Heir to the Empire!
