Ahsoka Official Ahsoka Series Discussion (Spoilers Allowed)

I want to know what that flashing light was off in the distance that entranced Baylon!

 

That's the confusing part. They do look very similar, but Ahsoka is wearing her white robes, similar to what she got at the end of this series. I could see this being a case where you're supposed to just squint, tilt your head, and ignore the discrepancy because Filoni hadn't planned that far in advance. But I'm not 100% sure.

 

It hasn’t been officially confirmed to be the same scene. I suspect it is, and we’re asked to simply imaging a small discrepancy between the animated and live action storytellers, but there’s still a possibility that it’s a scene that happens later. Personally I hope so, as I’d like to see Ahsoka get a cool staff. Staffs are cool!

To me, yes, and it's also reflected in an earlier scene: Ahsoka's arrival on Lothal uses two more matching shots from the epilogue. So I think Filoni just further split those parts to add to the story.

Here's my take on the staff : the only staves that belong in SW are saber-staves. What would the staff be for? She doesn't need it for walking (she's not that old), she has her lightsabers for fighting.... So why a staff? IMO Filoni needs to stop his desperate attempts at making Ahsoka the Gandalf of Star Wars. If he likes Gandalf so much he can start a blog and write fan-fictions about him, he doesn't have to turn someone who used to be an original character into him.

I mean, what's next? Turning Sabine into Arwen and Hera into Elrond?

 

A staff is often a symbol of spiritual authority, going back to shamanic times but enduring up through nearly every major religion. That can be it. Shows that she’s reached a level of enlightenment. Doesn’t have to be practical. And Star Wars was influenced by Tolkien from the very beginning, so I don’t understand the opposition to it. Obi-wan and Vader’s face-off was essentially Gandalf vs. the Balrog, for instance…

 

Gandalf does have one one mean Ahsoka the white in Rebels...

 

Also Mas Amedda. And gaffi sticks are essentially staffs.

 

Mas Amedda swings his saber staff around, bringing order to the Senate, like the Darth Jar Jar he is.

 

I love staffs. Just got me one in No Man’s Sky and I’m going nuts with it.

In recent article Hayden Christensen talked about his role in the show and his future as Anakin Skywalker in more of Ahsoka's hologram tapes and as a Force Ghost.

I am sure Dave Filoni has more plans for Anakin Skywalker in future, and not just in the Ahsoka show but in the movies.

 

Yeah I'm betting there will be an Anakin Force-Ghost scene in HttE. I'd be surprised and disappointed if there wasn't.

 

I could see in HTTE movie and maybe NJO movie.

 

Until proven otherwise, I think Anakin's force ghost has something important to do with the Mortis Gods.

 

I wonder if we see them. Like the Father might also be a Force Ghost. Are they still dead or alive in this new realm.

 

Until canon tells me differently, the Force is the Force, no matter which Galaxy or Realm you find yourself. Thus, the statue of the Father is same in both Galaxies, so their fates are the same. When Anakin rejected the Father in TCW, I've wonder if Ahsoka and the Mortis temple is a way for Anakin to finally bring balance to the Force.

 

He already has brought Balance to the Force now.
