As its probably a safe bet that Krennic won't survive R1 due to the plans being stolen, its also probably why the Deathtroopers aren't around after this if they are loyal to him.

Really liking the look of the TIE Striker too.

 

Loving the TIE Strikers, while the AT-ACT's are acceptable I guess.

Still not a fan of the Deathtroopers. I stand by my word that stormtroopers with black armor should have been the standard armor for TFA's stormtroopers instead.

Agreed. If they were the troops of Imperial Intelligence that implies that there should be more of them than just bodyguards for director Krennic.
Not really making sense continuity wise. You would think troops like these would have been hunting the Jedi all along and the rebels once they came on the scene. And we don't see them in Rebels or anywhere else so the idea that they can 'magically' pop up out of nowhere now makes no sense. There is no EU way of explaining this. Not to mention all those assumed ammo pouches make no sense seeing as no other unit anywhere in GFFA requires ammo pouches for laser guns.

Are they shooting actual bullets now?

So did that actor (the one that doesn't speak English real well) just give a huge spoiler away? Did he say what I think he said? As soon as he said it Christie immediately stopped him and said that he had said enough.

I'm guessing the Orange Cargo pod on the AT-ACT just slides out so it can be slung underneath the "Unicorn" shuttle?

 

Unicorn is the U-wing. I don't see why they'd be compatible.

 

Yep, Stormtrooper Larry confused me by calling it 'massive' (when it really isn't). The ship I'm referring to is the Imperial Cargo shuttle with four wings that gets blown up in the trailer.


And on a different point, what's this supposed to be? The side of the box is too big to represent a U-Wing;

 

No, I think it's a U-wing.

I think it is just representing the cargo hold underneath.

 

I think you are not meant to see that from the Outside.
They're filming the inside of a ship, like one of those flight simulators.

 

The things that are confusing me are the cylinder on the left and the fact that the outside wall of the box is 'finished' with the smooth surface and the curved bit at the top. Could there be a unseen port on the left hand side and the camera (in the cylinder) is shooting from outside in? And judging by the shot of Bistan in the U-Wing I think this box is too big for that craft, I have a feeling that the R1 crew steal an Imperial Troop Transport at one point and use that.

That's the U-Wing rig. When you see Bistan with the gun, he's in there.

 

"U-Wing" sounds like words uttered by the rejected/racist version of Lurch from The Addams Family.

 

Imperial Intelligence has white-shirted officers and black-armored soldiers, Stormtrooper Corps. has black-shirted officers and white-armored soldiers.

 

The empire is just trying to keep things in balance.

 

Cool! It looks like we are going to get some nice, up close Shots of the AT-ACTs action.

Just saw the Sizzle Reel. It is great to be getting so much new Rogue One imagery.

 

Interestingly, it says the AT-ATCs are larger than the standard combat AT-ATs.

 

Glad to see they make it into the jungle.

Looks like there's a lot going on in this movie.

Just watched the reel in super slow motion - It's Diego in Imperial Officer get up that slams the stormtrooper against the wall! Felicity is beside him in the gunner outfit we have already seen her in (but with a helmet)
