You're lucky. I was about to rip the fight scene between Dooku and Obi. I'll post them soon.

 

I'm sorry to say this, but I won't be releasing the new Saber Clashes Library. I've done so much to it, it's become very confusing. Also, if you have the movies, you could just rip them yourself. Sorry, but it's the end of the release to the public.

 

neo, I think we should create one huge foley archive. Foley is one of the tough things in sound work, but it's very good and useful when you know how to use it.

 

i don't really have much to contribute to that. bvc was my first experience doing little sounds like that.

 

Does anyone know what the final duel between Luke and Vader's music was called? If anyone has it, could they send it to me? I've been looking for that music for quite a while.

 

Neo, where did you get your vocals for fight scenes? I can't seem to find any.

 

a bunch of places, they're not very good. we really need to get board users to record new ones.

I'm redoing my BvC with foley this time and some new clashes. I want the clashes the be a bit quieter, but I don't know how quiet is too quiet.

EDIT: neo, could you help me find a sound for the part when Brandon gets his saber blown up by Chris' laser?

just use something with a sizzly/sparky sound. there'll be a deactivation at the same time, anyway.


if you flip the episode 6 luke activation backwards, it'll sound like the weapon's malfunctioning as it turns off.

there's a couple more in the star wars galaxies sounds too.

 

I was trying to download the sample Cramer posted, but I couldn't get it to download. I think the sounds you sent me shall be fine though.

I'm also kind of doing this in a reverse order. Foley, Hums, Swings, then Clashes. Seeing how it works out.

Your sounds are fitting in nicely, neo. A couple adjustments to my old explosion sounds, and it really works well.

 

I'm having trouble trouble deciding what the first clash should sound like. Like the very first clash lock at the beginning. Any ideas?

 

i think i used 2, put together somehow. i don't remember. use something loud.

 

I'm trying to keep the duel a bit quieter, but the first clash could be loud, I guess.
