[i]I have seen the official presentaion by LucasFilm for Episode III. Below is a summary of the first part. I will send more when I have a chance.

Title Crawl: The clone wars continue on and the war is being fought above Coursant. The separatist forces have captured Chancellor Palpatine. Two Jedis, Obi-Wan and Anakin have found out where Palpatine is being held and lead a Squad of clones to rescue the Chancellor...

A huge space battle is taking place above the planet of Couruscant.

Obi-Wan and Anakin are flying new Jedi Starfighters that have a strange similarity to TIE fighters in the original trilogy. It's a very exciting scene with lots of action. Obi-Wan and Anakin try to get a lock on Shaak Ti's tracking device (she was captured along with Palpatine) and find that she and Palpatine are in the most heavily guarded ship. Obi-Wan and Anakin call for backup from the Clone troopers just as 20 or so droid fighters leave the ship and attack.

The droid fighters look like smaller Imperial shuttles. The battle continues and one of the droid shuttles deploys a bunch of sphere shaped droids, about the size of basketballs. They attach to Obi-Wan's Starfighter and arms, legs and lasers pop out. They begin to attack the various components of his ship, much like the Sentinels did in the Matrix. One of the droids cuts the head off of the R4 droid in the starfighter.

Anakin flies in to save his master and best friend. He tells Obi-Wan to keep steady and he starts to shoot the droids off the ship. He hits Obi-Wan's starfighter a few times and decides to try a different method. He flies in close to Obi-Wan and brushes the droids off the ship with his wing. One of the droids hops onto Anakin's ship and tries to cut off R2-D2s head. R2 extends an arm and hits the droid with a blast of electricity knocking it off the ship.

One last droid is still on Obi-Wan's ship and does some major damage. The ejector seat doesn't function and he loses control. His plan is to crash land his ship in to the hanger of the large separatist ship where Palpatine is being held. However, a shield is up. Anakin must fly in and knock out the shield to allow Obi-Wan to land.

Just as the two Jedi's enter the ship, the steel hanger doors shut. Obi-Wan pulls out his lightsaber, cuts open the canopy of his starfighter and jumps out just as the ship crashes and bursts into flames. He does a flip in the air as he is surrounded by battle droids. Anakin, still in his ship, flies through the hanger and crashes into the droids once again saving Obi-Wan.

Anakin and Obi-Wan then run off following Shaak Ti's signal. Hayden Christensen has obviously bulked up since Episode II. He stands a few inches taller than Ewan McGregor, and has much broader shoulders. Christensen now has shoulder length hair and is wearing more black leather underneath his Jedi robe. McGregor's hair is cut close to his head and he has a full beard, reminiscent of Alec Guinness. In fact, his voice sounds strangely like Guinness' as well.

The two are encountered by battle droids and they fight their way through. When they find Shaak Ti, she is in a room filled with battle droids, General Grevious and his body guards. Grevious is mostly machine with only the brain and ey

Hello.

I have no idea if I am posting in the right section, but since this is a GG thread, I hope this is the right place to go.

For about six months now, I was working on a Game Design featuring General Grievous. It started from the begining when he was organic up untill his death in EpIII. Overtime, I thought that since I could never make the game under my current situation, I thought I whould take it and turn it into a Fan-Fiction for everybody to read.

However I have a few holes I whould like to fill in...

1) Can sombody give me the cliff notes on what happend to Grevious in Labyerenth of Evil? I will eventualy read the book very soon, but it whould be kind if I could get some info now while I am updating.

2) What is the name of GG`s race and planet? Is he a humaniod or not? I know he is reptilian, but some parts on what his culture was like whould enlighten the background more than it is.

3) I think that GG is most likely part of the Techno Union, but has there been any mention on who actualy built GG`s cybernetic parts? I do have a temporary character I created to fill the gaps, but the more offical I can make it, the better. (And less flames from fans, I might add)

I hope I can get some help. This story is huge. -.-;

Well we know whats going to happen to grievous in episode 3( all his sceans are great and very good dialoge, not to mention hes the first and second chunk(i think) of the movie). So In your opinion did grievous(for people who read the novel, not the comic book ext) become a great memrobal charcter or a stupid charcter or somthing in the middle?

 

I watched that little clip like 8 times, it was too short.

 

Jedi_Master_Neo, perhaps these pieces of recent info can help you:

- Grievous' species is called Kalee (Kaleesh in singular?)

- I'm going on my own impressions here, but the Kaleesh culture is a mix of primitive architecture
and modern technology, the planet has a fairly good amount of vegetation but can sometimes appear as
a sun-drenched wasteland. I think it's pretty safe to say the civilization is nowhere near Coruscant. Think Naboo and Tatooine mixed together.

- He speaks with a slight eastern european accent, in a bizarre electronically modulated voice.

- His arsenal ranges between lightsabers, electrostaffs and blasters... and he uses his fists as well.

- 95% of his body is all mechanical, while the remaining 5% consist of internal organs from his upper
body conserved in a container and some parts of his head.

- Normally Grievous is hunched, but in combat he stands up tall. It's unknown if he hunched before becoming a biodroid. Perhaps his spine was damaged so badly by the shuttle crash that he chose to go easy on it when not fighting.

- His torso and breathing apparatus was damaged by a force-crunch delivered by Mace Windu, causing
him to cough occasionally (this is EU, but I doubt it will ever be brought up in detail by Lucas)

Sorry that clip was so short. There was a little more with Artoo providing a distraction, then Obi-Wan cutting his handcuffs with his lightsaber that I clipped. But that was all of the Greivous frames.

Thanks for all the info guys.

My story has been refined in refrence for the suporting info as well as some new info I found. I plan to buy Laberenth of Evil and read it over the weekend. I cannot wait.

Also, as I said, I whould like to make this into a Fan-Fic (although I may or may not publish the original Game Design Document) for eveybody to read. I also understand that some of my info is a little inacurat, and that some of Grevious backstory I made up will proboly not line up with the ones in offical EU storys.

However, I believe as a wrighter that I can still publish this to give fans a very alternat look at Star Wars in the eyes of a villan. See the Jedi as corupt clergy with weapons. What can turn a basic Kaleesh into a heartless killer? Why dose Grevious hunt the Jedi, is it for more than sport?

I cannot wait for Episode III. Go Go Grevious! ^-^

Oh, two more quick things while it is on the top of my head.

1) I remember seing two drawings of Grevious as a Kaleesh warrior and then one of his body floating in a bacta tank after the crash. Dose anybody knows were thease images are?

2) In star wars galies, what is the name of the Star Wars Martal Art you can study. I know what it is, but I have no idea on how to spell it.

Hey you guys----!! Here's my GG haul from last night. I didn't get the Force Battler, Attackix (or whatever the heck its spelled) and the Pimp Bi... herrr, Wheel Bike and the two 3 3/4" figs, BUT I AM HAPPY nonetheless. ^___^

The Huk ravaged the lands, filling every single gap of the crevis in the mountain like water flowing into a cup. The multi-colored eyes of the enemy glowed with malace and rage, dismembering all that stood in the way. Hundreads of Kaleesh with there vibro-bladed weapons stood there grounds in mortal combat. One by one they fell, acid green and puke yellow blood flowing from there severed limbs.

The orange-colored eyes of General Trerror looked into his brother. Just like the guards around him, the eyes had fear instilled in them.

"We may not survive this", said Trerror, nerviously like a boy who has looked into the eyes of his enranged parrents and knows what penalties will bestow appon him. "We should pull back-"

"No, we will stand dear brother. This battle is already won."

Trerror`s brother, Grevous, stood on the edge of the preciprice. A <Insert long discripton of Grevious as a Kaleesh>. Unlike the other Kaleesh warriors, Grevious did not show fear in his eyes. Instead, his yellow-acid eyes shined under the shadowy groves in his mask, as if he were telling some sort of funny joke.

"Get the cannons ready Vargus...", Grevious commanded in a raspy and athoritative tone. "...and hurry."

Wee, I cannot wait untill I get this done. -.-;
