Ok, for those of you that grew up on the original "Land before Time" movie....

i always liked sharptooth even though it totally just kills littlefoot's mom.

 

The girl who played Cera was murdered by her Dad, who killed her mom right afterwards and then killed himself.

 

The ending of that movie always made me cry.


Come to think of it, I never liked Cera.

 

i dont remember that.

Actually, I checked IMDb...the girl who played Cera, Candace Hutson, is still alive, and even provided her voice to a few of the sequels.


It was Ducky's voice, Judith Barsi (who also played the orphan Ann Marie in All Dogs Go to Heaven) who was murdered.

 

Really? Wikipedia said otherwise. IMDB is normally less accurate in my opinion. They are especially sketchy when it comes to deaths.

 

Its Ducky who passed away. I actually remember hearing it on the news all those years ago...

 

Oh man...I've not seen that movie in so long.

I also remember Cera as a bit of a bitch, though I was too young to express my feelings like that.

 

I'd rather inject heroin into my eyeballs rather than watch Land before Time or any of its 56 sequels.

 

they play the songs backwards now, just so they sound different..

 

If Cera were a person in the 80's she'd be one of those butch lesbians with a mohawk, a bull nose ring and tribal tattoos all over her torso.

 

I grew up in the time before the "Land Before Time," which basically meant years of horrible baby-sitting experiences during my late adolescence.

Those cutesy animated dinosaurs get exponentially more annoying with every viewing, and I had to watch that stupid move approximately 1,550 times. I prayed and prayed for a giant meteor to come and wipe them off the planet, but it never did.

Then again, I still do say, "YepyepYEP!" in a maniacally perky voice at unpredictable intervals. Actually, I think the intent is to sound completely insane rather than quirkily adorable, which, come to think of it, was pretty much the effect the original dinosaur had.

Oh man I remember this movie. I loved it. Yeah, she was rude. I might be too if my parents were long lost. In the end they were all friends though.

Is that from some promo on the VHS tape? I vaguely remember some Pizza Hut spot with kids hanging spoons off their noses.

 

K, I looked that up, and I'm way depressed over the way she died.

I just got that too...and I thought her name was spelled "Sarah".

I thought she was a little bratty, yeah, but not that bad. It was just how she was raised.

I loved Land Before Time and I thought the music was beautiful.
Ducky was my favorite.

 

The worst thing is as you people are typing these lines, I'm hearing the voices in my head saying them.

Edit: And I didn't know that about the girl who played Ducky either. Wow. That is really, really sad.
