The one about using the word "NOT" at the ned of each sentence is so true.

Alvin and the Chipmunks, Oh the memories

Michael Jackson and Alvin, now that was a fun cameo to see

He only did the cameo because he thought they said chimpanzee not chipmunk.

What about loving listening to a brilliant ( for its time) rendition of the "Ghostbusters"
    theme on a C64? lol

Or playing "Revenge of the Mutant Camels". or "Jet Set Willy" lol

I played Pacman and Frogger on those arcade table tops. I also had Pacman on Atari. I asked some young kids recently if they ever played the Atari and they didn't know what the Atari was.
I had a hypercolour T-shirt. (It wasn't me who bought it.) First time round I saw TESB and ROTJ on the big screen and Star Wars on TV.
I was a big fan of Transformers and He-Man.

Kehleyr, some of those facts happened in the early nineties, not the eighties.

Yeah, that's what I thought. It's scary when they list stuff like that and you say "Oh, yeah that was kid's stuff...."

The table top arcades were the best. I would like to give props to Enigma HR in the city. They have a table-top arcade game as their coffee table in the waiting area and encourage people to play it !! I was sorely tempted but wanted to avoid the whole "Keith, I'm Mr So-andso, you can come through for your inteview now" "Awww, but I'm almost finished this level!!!!"

Oh dear.... NKOTB. I remember them all to well. They were one of those bands that no one liked but everyone bought their albums.

If anyone cares, the Bare Naked Ladies have on hillarious song about NKOTB on their albumn "Gordon". It's very, very, very funny. I don't recall the name, but I'm sure it's got something to do with New Kids.

And remember when Mark Walburg's big claim to fame was that his brother was one of the NKOTB members !! That's even before Marky Mark and the Funk Bunch (..feel the vibrations ??)

One of the kids I teach, told me how cute Mark Walberge was, and my friend and I were talking about Marky Mark and the Funky bunch, this kid looked at us as thought we were totally nuts, and asked who Marky Mark and the Funky buch was, we just looked at her and said "Dont you know"

Then proceeded to tell her all about Marks band and NKOTB...I can tell you, after that day 15 kids have never looked at me in the same way again...

I found a Shop in the Marrickville Centre which sells everything in the computer world that is old. You can pick up an old Atari console for $100. They also sell all the games and everything from commadore 64 to ps2.

Remember the days when, instead of selling you a game, they gave you SOURCE CODE and you had to type it in, then save it to your cassette drive?

(sigh) them kids these days have it so easy... :D

You know, I actually had the source code for a utilities program that I wrote published by APC hundreds of years ago. It was called "Keith's Utilities" (surprise, huh?) and was for the Apple ][ range. I received royalties for about 3 years from it !!! How much, you ask ?? I received a cheque every six months, each one totalling somewhere between 33 and 35 cents. WOO HOO !!

The shop is called Retro games and they have a website under construction www.retrogames.com.au
They have the phone number on the site, which will give you the exact address in the Marrickville Metro. its right next to Liquorland.
