Aside from Devs, Cailee Spaeny is solid in Bad Times at the El Royale and gave good teenage snark as RGB's daughter in On the Basis of Sex. That gives her qualifications to carry a pulse rifle and bug hunt in my book. Apparently she's also in Mare of Easttown too. Excuse to post this

Hey they promised Aliens on Earth in the original Alien 3 teaser, it just took a few more decades but I need closure! Just tweak the teaser a bit to say 2024 and cut Weaver's card

 

I’m fine with the aliens on earth thing. More concerned about the new movie to be honest. I have a feeling it won’t bring anything new to the table.

 

We got Aliens on earth in AVP Requiem.

Just rewatched AVP Requiem. It has great moments, the ambush of The National Guard, The Hospital, The Power Plant. We will likely never see Yautja versus Xenomorphs on the big screen in our life time. I am glad we got two films. Not perfect, but I enjoy them.

 

The hospital birth/PredAlien Queen reproduction is appropriately messed up for an Alien movie. And I'm totally okay with Dallas descendant being one who was involved and even got to say "Get to the Chopper" (as lifeless as that line reading was)

Still fits into continuity for me. Predators found the black goo and the next 2 Predator movies showed they were into different species and genetic engineering. Peter Weyland inherited Charles Bishop Weyland empire because reasons

 

Alien 3 was Fincher’s first serial killer movie, and dare to say . . . one of his best ones . . .

This. I could watch a 2 hour film of a Predator hunting Aliens.

 

As I was watching the Predators experiment on the ship and Wolf (Cleaner Pred) using the liquid from the facehugger tanks to augment his vision to see Xenonorphs, I realized the Predators do have a bio-mechanical style of tech like the Engineers, which then makes me think the Yautja (Preds) did as you said, take Engineer tech and use it for their purposes.

And another Aliens game, Dark Descent (looks better than Fireteam, although I'm a sucker for anything resembling a plot and Real Time Strategy could be neat)

 

Need a sequel to Alien Isolation.

 

There's a finished Alien vs Predator anime series somewhere in the Disney Vault beside Walt's cryo frozen head!
