ST Oscar Isaac (Poe Dameron) in Episode VII

Since Andy Serkis is in both Avengers 2 and TFA, does that mean he's pulling both Ultron and Poe's strings?

 

Poe is going to be a string-less. Oscar Isaac is nobody's puppet.

He'll probably sing a song with a rebel yell as well.

Tbh, i never thought Isaac to be the third lead. It's probably just Finn/Rey/Driver who will have the most screentime. Oscar will get Lando-screentime.

I've already seen the rumors between phasma and rey

 

so if Rey is a Solo and her and/or Chewie inherits the Falcon, then what's Poe's future going to be like???

Impossible, Rey will become a Jedi and a Jedi cannot have family. You forgot this?

I thought Poe would be kicking *** in his x wing most if the trilogy but that's lame I guess…

Just saw Isaacs in "The Two Faces of January." He was brilliant. Held his own against Viggo Mortensen, and even surpassed him in a few instances. There's a scene with no dialogue where he quietly rages against Viggo (after he does something bad to him and someone else), and Isaacs does some of the best acting I've seen from someone his age. Really excited to see him as Poe Dameron, and hope he's not underused!

 

Poe and his X-Wing will be zapping bad guys all over the place. (And doing cool things like skimming the waters of whatever planet that was...)

 

He may actually do a lot more than that. He will start off the film by picking up the lightsaber on Tatooine, standing up to the Stormtroopers and getting captured, getting thrown in the brig, escaping with Finn, stealing a TIE with Finn (and then going his separate way, it seems), meeting up with the gang at the Rebel base before the showdown, leading an X-Wing assault on the Imperial weapon/ base, and then probably attending whatever the aftermath is at the Rebel base before Rey flies off to see Luke. Should be a hefty amount of screen time.

 

^ I am sure he'll do more than that. I cannot resist the X Wing stuff though.

 

Oscar Issac is like James Garner - just great in everything.

I mean the guy made one gesture in his first scene in Robin Hood and just owned the movie from then on.

 

I'm curious as to what exactly Poe knows in this film. He knows the lightsaber is important enough to hide it from Kylo, but seemingly sends BB-8 off and doesn't try to find it. Is it some kind of plan of his? Is he someone who knows a lot more than he lets on? I jokingly speculated the other day that he may know Rey. But I'm starting to wonder maybe he does. Might even be familiar with Kylo to some degree.
