but it's nothing new Isaac has been rumored to be a Solo since summer and the heir stuff comes from the Poe inherits the Falcon rumors or from the fact that Poe and Han seem close.

starocean90, Thank you for coming through as usual. It is nice that Oscar is finally seeing his career pay off. In addition to the obvious, I am really looking forward to Ex Machina.

 

I'm not gonna lie. Isaac is a good-looking guy. He also looks uncomfortably like me, which I suppose means I am oddly (and non-homosexually?) attracted to myself.

Sorry to edit, but this is the bit I wanted to comment on. THAT is pretty darn cool.

I didn't know that was also a rumour.

IF they are close. I'd put money on it being a friendship born out of fighting alongside each other - that Solo is Dameron's commanding officer and Poe is an unconventional pilot and officer (or possibly Poe is strictly by the book** but gets the mission done) who has gained Han's respect.

** I suspect this is the case and in the trio of Finn-Rey-Poe, where Finn is a military type who has defied orders and Rey is a civilian and daughter of Han and Leia (and therefore the roguish one) that Poe is probably the one sworn to duty and following the rules. Maybe.

 

I'd like to think that Poe and Finn both defy orders for reasons that ultimately mirror each other. I'm already getting a kind of cocky vibe from Poe and I like that.

This Lady agrees with the Oscar is attractive tangent (esp. when he's sporting a beard, but too because he is very down to earth. It's great he's built up his career over time.)

I hope Disney take a cue from their Marvel releases and start to leak out info before Celebration.

 

It could just mean that he plays the role of an experienced older male character like Han Solo.

 

Dunno if this was a mistake or not on Isaac's part, but I think we now know Poe will live to see episode 8.

Well I can't say I'm too shocked. Once you're in the "Big 3" you have a good chance of survival till around the 3rd film, then there is a good chance one of you will either die or get frozen in carbonite.

Yeah it reads that way. Only so many times you can get asked "Are you excited to work with X?" before you answer unthinkingly in the affirmative.

Aw, heh-heh that reporter is cruel. On the plus side, though, I can finally refer to Oscar Isaac's character as Poe Damned. Next up, changing Rey to Reagan and Finn to Gil... just because I like those names more. The fundamentals required of my TFA fanfic are almost complete.

 

Poe would be a huge selling point to get me to the cinema.

 

Forget Poe. I just wanna know how to look right in the rain. I always have this trouble.
