My friends, happy opening of the 279 ELL season.

 

Reading that made me realize just how well behaved and...normal, the Mandalorians have been since the new commish took office.

 

Something tells me this situation is not going to persist, is it?

I actually think it's a situation where Lokensgaard and the Mandos just generally see eye to eye on most things.

Not sure what that says about Lokensgaard though.

To be honest I rather like the change of pace it has afforded me with the Mercs. I came in with a very contentious atmosphere between the commissioner's office and the Mercs organization. It's fun to work with things the other way around now. At least until it gets boring.

Carratos, Nar Shaddaa, and Bakura are the only current member planets not to host a draft.

I think it would be hilarious if it were on Bakura, especially as they have been the Evil Empire lately.

With the Miners having the second overall pick, I did think that perhaps Bakura would be appropriate so the home fans had something big to cheer about. Are you all going to force me to host it now?

Yup. And that was my pick before the mock draft. It was pretty much my pick the moment I made the trade with Becca when I looked at my roster.

Just a heads up to those working on trades and whatnot, you will have a bit more time. Unless I get the inspiration to write tonight (doubtful as the BROWNS are on) Mercs picks will probably be posted tomorrow.

Sorry, was having way too much fun last night to even think about my post. Now I'm just basking in that first place feeling (so rare for us BROWNS fans). I'll get my post, and picks, in sometime this afternoon.
