Fanclub Oya manda!: The Mandalorian/Republic Commando Fan Club

I really love that name; most go with Atin, Tor, Ruusaan and Kal. Your name describes a concept in Mando culture that I really love. Shereshoy bal ayhaan is the concept: lust for life and grief and rememberance. The complementing states of feeling for a cultural soldier.

 

Well I am so far thinking of names but still feel unsure because when it comes to this kind of stuff I want it to be perfect.

Of course, my forum name used to be Genet-Cabur Kyramud and it took me awhile to finally decide on a name until about a week ago when I decided on this one

 

Well its just a thought but I thought one at least for a possibility is Naakla Kar'ta which the literal translation is peaceful heart. I like it but I am not 100% sold if I want that as my mando name.

 

That's a good start!

 

I guess I am unsure if I want my mando name to be one showing off my peaceful nature even though it would be in an ironic way since in my mind my mando character would be a bounty hunter or have it show off my abilities as a fighter or something.

 

I'm sure whatever you come up with will be awesome Mandalorian in the Falcon.

Unrelated, not too much Mandalorian stuff revealed at SDCC as yet(unless I missed something). I did just get word that a new Lego set is out, might have to check that out to go with my Lego Vode

 

Oh my my inner child just freaked out at the words Lego Vode haha

It sucks being a San Diegan and not being able to go to SDCC, I hate being poor

 

From what I have seen there are three LEGO sets out this year with new mandos in them.

The new Corporate Alliance tank droid has the new Jango Fett mini-fig.



The 2013 Mandalorian Speeder comes with 2 Mandalorian Super-Commando mini-figs. It also comes with TCW Darth Maul



The 2013 Advent Calandar will have the new Jango Fett but in Santa Claus livery as well as a new young Boba Fett minifigure.





I most certainly need all three.

 

The only thing that really sucks thats mando related is we won't be getting Star Wars 1313 which i know is old news but still it would have been awesome to be a mandalorian even though I also heard it was before it was canceled becoming a Boba Fett video game.

 

I don't play many video games, but I may have played that one.

 

Apparently I'm going to have a Darth Maul Mini figure for sale

We are also getting the Black Series Boba Fett in both 6 inch & 4 inch sizes.

 

I'll keep him for the sake of completeness. Too bad I already have two older variants of the shabla Corporate Alliance Tank Droid.

Oh I am going to add those to my "to get" list too.

There's actually the possibility EA will license the game to another developer to finish it, so there's still hope

 

I need to get a pic of all my Mandalorian Lego mini-figs together. The closest I have is this one, but I have another dozen or so that are piloting various vehicles and thus not pictured.

 

And now Inspired by Rob I decided to go dig through everything and grab a quick pic of all my Lego Mandalorians. At least I think this is all of them.

 

I recently got a model kit but I think one of my next model kits I wanna get is Boba Fetts ship.

 

My son has a Slave I that he flies around for fun. I have an old micro-machine one and a couple of Lego ones. I'll be honest, I never liked the design all that much.

 

I started collecting mine right after my daughter was born. I needed something to do when she was napping.

 

Have you seen the Saga Legends Jango Fett that just came out? It has only 5 points of articulation but it's the best Mandalorian helmet that Hasbro has ever sculpted. Plus it's only $10, with the inclusion of a battle droid (which I totally didn't need but it was worth it for the Jango). It's really awesome.

 

Su'cuy! I'm new here, and just found out about this group, so I thought I'd make myself known. I've loved the Mandos for years, ever since I first saw Jango in AOTC. I am currently on a second read-through of the RC series and I'm trying to learn Mando'a better. Ret'.
