How many of yous are on this site? I know Rhonda is (creepin on my pins ). Does anyone else find the site as addicting as I/other do? Also, what are some of your favorite pins?! etc etc etc

My missus loves it.

I've never looked at it tbh but the missus spends hours on it each night.

 

Amizzle: A site you go to that has photos in different categories that you can pin to a virtual pinboard for safe keeping.

 

This seriously sounds like the dumbest thing on the internet. I say this even after Jacen reminded us all that hamster dance still exists.

 

Let's all invent more social networking for the sake of social networking. People can't "keep track of their interests" without a website?

 

It's really a visual social bookmarking site, like Delicious and Tumblr had a baby. She social bookmarking features are useful, since it's a good way to keep track of (and share) things like recipes, articles you want to read, ideas for your job or other aspects of your life, and the visual/Tumblr portion just makes it pretty. People could keep track of these things without a website, but I'd say it's probably easier to hit the "Pin It" button in your browser than to copy/paste (or write down with a typewriter, since it's you we're talking about Billy) each URL with a description and a photo to remind you of what the link is for.

Strange you should post this. Was just going through it after checking a co-worker's link on fb.

 

I use it mainly for recipes, classroom ideas and..."fitness inspiration" .

 

My life will go on just fine without going to this website.

I don't pinterest, because I already waste too much time on Reddit. I'm afraid of getting sucked into something else.
