    Aaaaand, from the PWTorch...

The reason that Nathan Jones was pulled out of his match at WrestleMania with Undertaker was due to Jones not being able to get the match down despite a week of practice. The latest buzz amongst WWE officials is to consider sending the SmackDown superstar to Ohio Valley developmental territory for training. Jim Ross is said be taking major heat for the poor wrestling of Nathan Jones, as he was the one who really pushed WWE into signing him.

Yes, they should pack him off to OVW, and try to figure out why they didn't do it sooner. It was like the second coming of Bull Buchanon all over again, I dread to think of how many 'hosses' JR would've thrown around if Jones had been on Raw.

Come on. Bull Buchanon wasn't that bad. I heard an on-line interview with him and he seemed like a really decent guy. Said one of his dreams in the business is to go wrestle in Japan. I respect guys that give props to the Japanesse wrestling. I feel bad that he got fired when he did, he was entertaining with Cena.

Slow down their style, eh? I guess that's why Nash and Big Show are getting title shots [face_plain]

Makes me respect Juvi even more for going double-speed instead of half-speed in his dark match last year.

    Unlikelies:
    SCSA
    Kane
    Jericho
    Triple H-Wouldn't surprise me
The Rock-Maybe he'll do it to put someone over

    Likelies:
    RVD
    Val Venis
    Test
    Lance Storm
    William Regal

So who else is eligble? I want to say Christian, but I'm not sure. I would rather see a tournament with Chris Harvard getting the push, but at least the IC title is back.

Who's your money on right now W.K? I somehow think this is another oppotunity to bring another old guy no one cares about to pop the crowd for a whole week. The Mountie, Chyna, X-Pac are probably sitting by the phone waiting for that call.

Also Sable should be in Raw Brand as she never appeared on a SD before she returned. Just another storyline nitpick.

I'd say either RVD, Jericho, Christian, or Storm. Christian & Storm need it more, but I always like seeing RVD & Jericho with titles :D

RVD and Kane kept the tag belts tonight so I don't expect him getting it. I kind of expected Scott Steroid and Test would win to do the unhappy tag team thing for the billionth time.

I love how the Canadian fans are booing Nash out of the building ! [face_laugh]

As far as the new IC Champ goes, Id say the smart money is on Jericho, if only to give the belt instant credibility and put it in the hands of a more than capable worker. Chris Harvard or Hurricane winning the Battle Royal would also be good.

"Diesel sucks!" - Gotta love the Canadian crowds, they say what we're all thinking.

So, HGH should be going to jail for Grand Theft. I hope they throw the book at him.

I'm surprised they're letting the Canadian heels play up to the crowd.

    :D @ La Resistance.

La Résistance = from Québec, not from France...that little detail bugs me a lot.

Question: is that a jock strap in Christian's pants? As Hurricane would put it «wazzupwidat»?

Hmm. Apparently WWE Confidential this week will be about Miss Elizabeths life and death. Plus her involvement with Luger. I guess I'll have to watch it.

What kind of beer was that? I've never seen a completely red beer can (other than the writing) before.

Looks like the Canadians got screwed again. Every hometown wrestler they rooted for lost or got severly beat up. Even TTT let'em down--LOL! But I laughed hard when they Boo'ed Kevin Nash.

    Gob bless Canadian crowds. :)

Pretty lackluster RAW tonight. The HHH/Nash segment was boring. I guess we were supposed to get excited by it, but I know I sure didn't. I'm ticked that Jericho's camera time was cut short and now it looks like he's going to be squashed next week to make Nash look like a monster.

And am I the only one who wonders about Nash's quad every time he goes down? [face_mischief]

The main event sucked. Somebody please inform the WWF that nobody cares about 3 Minute Warning.

At least the IC belt is coming back and Stacy's legs still reach all the way to the floor. :)

I thought for a moment that Nash's qaud was gone again when he went down to one knee. The only good thing about that segment was Jericho and the Disel sucks chant.

    contenders for the IC Strap
    Y2J
    Steiner
    Christian
Triple H (hey he can have both straps and not drop them to anyone)
    booga T
    Morley
    Hurricane

    Anyone else worth it?

Instead of handing the title to someone, they need a tournament culminating in the next PPV.

Why is it, no one liked Sugar Shane Helms but people love the Hurricane?
Marks disliked Jamie-san, but respect Jamie Noble
Stunning Steve was not over, but stone cold gets huge pops
Miss Hancock was booed, but stacey Kiebler is cheered.
can anyone else see where i am going with this?

I believe that some SD talents will be involved in that match...

Something I heard, hinted towards that fact.

I thought for the most part, that RAW was decent...and the definite MOM for me was the announcement of the IC Belt coming back.

    I had an epiphany...

I believe Booker T will win the Rumble to be the IC champ...he gets to hold it for a few months, then gets his next Title shot.

Everyone always says that the IC belt is the stepping stone.

And again, I was surprised to not see a Vignette about Miss Elizabeth. I guess they are going to leave that to Confidential...which is on way too late for me.

And what's up with Jericho/Hurricane on Heat?

Actually, according to Austin's decree, I dont think that Booker would be eligible for the IC battle royal. IIRC, he never held that particular title.

Anyone read the Rant yet ? I really like Keith's ideas for Austin as GM, especially if they do it the way Keith suggested. Something like that, especially if they take their time with it, could really make for some compelling TV if done correctly.

Despite the lack of "rasslin'", I can honestly say that I really enjoyed RAW last night for the first time in a long time.
