Luke - chooses to be a Jedi, and becomes what the Jedi once were before the Order became complacent.
Qui Gon - the maverick. He sees what the Council has become and chooses to act independently
Plo Koon - TCW fleshes out his character (Filoni - duh) he's more like a true Jedi than many of his Council Companions. Compassionate. Fearless. Has faith.
Kit Fisto - certified BAMF. Keeps his composure as a Jedi Master after losing his padawan to Greivous. Lasts longer than Saesee Tiin and Agen Kolar against Sidious.
Obi Wan - for all his flaws, he lives to keep the last hope of the galaxy safeguarded. He lives with himself and what he's done and his failures so that Luke can save the galaxy.

 

1) Luke
Great Everyman, fallible quality. And seeing where he ends up, BAMF floating Jedi Master Force projecting across the galaxy. Awesome.

2) Qui-Gon
Liam Neeson brings so much warmth, but also badassery with his stature. Such a classic flavour and a perfect way to introduce us to the Jedi of old. Lightsaber in the door is a top 10 SW moment for me.

3) Anakin
Interesting tragic story. Not higher on the list since what’s interesting about him is when he’s no longer a Jedi.

4) Rey
I really liked her character in TFA/TLJ, with an interesting character flaw in her abandonment issues. But its kind of squandered by TROS.

5) Obi-Wan
A bit bland in ANH/TFM, but very strong in ROTS because of the Anakin tragedy.

 

I. Luke Skywalker

The Jedi who’s faith, hope, and love in Vader saved Anakin. He isn’t perfect, but he is one of the few Jedi who feels grounded and like a real person I’d want to be friends with.

II. Ulic Qel Droma

Valiant paladin who falls to the dark side in search of destroying its adherents. Ulic fascinates me because eventually he is severed from the Force, and must come to terms with how can you be a Jedi with no connection to the Force?

III. Revan

The Jedi who lead an army of Knights against the Mandalorians, then became a Dark Lord of the Sith, and finally Jedi Prodigal. What I like most about him is his romantic relationship with Bastila Shan, and that they get a special dispensation to marry: two Jedi in love!

IV. Rey Palpatine Skywalker

She surprised me. I at first didn’t think she’d ever be on the list, but she embodies the transcendent Jedi, she carries what I believe the Jedi need to become in the future.

V. Obi-Wan Kenobi

If there ever was a perfect Jedi Guardian, it was Kenobi. He is stalwart and devout, yet he is understanding and gentle in his prodding. Kenobi is the ideal Jedi, in every way.

#1 was Luke until TLJ.

Anakin was great from the beginning of ROTS until the Mace Windu incident.

Obi-Wan was great for most of the movies but the lies he told Luke and his failures with Anakin brings him down a notch.

But overall counting all the movies I'll go with Qui Gon Jinn. Very wise, competent, and skilled.

 

1. Luke: Wasn't fond of every choice they made in the ST with him, but he still mostly shines through, and I really love him in the CT.
2. Yoda: Mostly for his OT and TLJ appearance, but there are things I still like about him in the PT.
3. Obi-Wan: Hello there.
4. Anakin: Mainly because of the end of ROTJ, but also some moments in the PT.
5. Ben Solo

Honorable mentions
Rey
Leia: Tough to place because we barely saw her is a Jedi. As a character, she would crack my top 3 or 4 of the characters I've mentioned.
