Right. So everyone'll be doing it. Thing is... I really can't decide if I want to go along looking like a standard Red Dwarf devotee, or if I want to look like a normal person and watch the standard Red Dwarf devotees with casual amusement.
Yes you might be right. I had a look at my Making of Gunmen book (signed by Chloe, Robert, Craig, Danny, Chris, Mac, Norman and Hattie, btw )... the shots of the studio audience reveal them to be dressed normally (with only a smattering of Red Dwarf t-shirts to be seen). EDIT: And how did I manage that? Ah yes... Swindon, 2006... [image=http://www.bluealert.co.uk/images/red_dwarf_swindon_2006_1.jpg] We got so many signatures we didn't know what to do with them!
First studio audience recording day today. All the vibes seem positive, although they are carefully controlled vibes it should be said. The most important thing for me in that report is knowing that there's some concealed entrance everyone needs to find. Important for getting in the queue.
An image of the studio audience on Friday. I was expecting it to be. More reason to get there early.
Upping this as there is a full-page ad in the new SFX magazine. The new show starts 4 October (Thursday) at 9pm on Dave. Dave has been marathoning the old series on Sat & Sun in preparation.
I think we might as well have a thread for the show here, it would bring back activity a bit and I'm not sure how many people in the JCC will have seen it.
Just a note that if you don't get the Dave channel the DVD/BluRay are out Nov 19 here in the UK: Amazon UK
Well, that wasn't a bad episode. I've seen funnier ones, but it was hardly the worst one they've ever done and it generated laughs and seemed to retain the style of the original show which is good.
I enjoyed it, especially the running phone gag. Not bad at all. since I taped it I'll probably watch again before next week's episode.
