Hey everyone, I had a long phone call from Dark Disciple today and he's messed up dates a bit! His mothers 60th is the same night as the Relay, so he has asked if he can come down after the party and walk his stints back to back at 3-5am. I said I didn't see a problem with it so will change the roster to suit. Hope that's ok with everyone else Let me know if you want something changed

Ok, guys, we are less than a week to go now, and I just thought I might put up a list of things people will need. A few of you haven't done this before, and I just wanted to make sure you weren't caught short over the weekend.

List of things Needed for Registered Walkers.

Tent (or access to one to share)
Sleeping bag
pillow
spare blanket (it gets COLD!)
plate/knife/fork/cup
rain coat/umbrella (check the weather closer to the day)
Nibbly Food/Drink
Deck Chair
change of clothes (when get out of costume)
Warm coat/jacket
DEPOSIT RECEIPTS (very important!)
A Few Dollars (food, hot choc, Remembrance Candle Bags)
Ribbons to tie on tent strings (I will toss some in, have a bit here )
Smiles
Laughter
Sense of Humor!

I am hoping this weekends rain will allow next weekend to be dry!!! Fingers crossed everyone!

SEVEN DAY FORECAST FOR ADELAIDE!! So take off 4 or so degrees and you get Victor in most cases!!!

Tuesday Shower or two. Min 12 Max 16
Wednesday Shower or two. Min 11 Max 17
Thursday Becoming fine early. Min 11 Max 19
Friday Mainly fine. Min 11 Max 19
Saturday Mainly fine. Min 11 Max 17
Sunday Fine. Partly cloudy. Min 9 Max 18

So we are looking at a 13 Degree Saturday, 5 degree night and a 14 degree day on Sunday.

RUG UP PEOPLE!!!

I have some thing planned for the centre of camp to help us keep warm!

That WOULD be good... but if i remember correctly... after the first year, open fires have been banned? not sure as to the exact rules but they had to remove the barrel fires they had so a bonfire is pretty outta the question.

BUT a circle of heater fans would be acceptable

Well... We are at a different oval now, and its outside of town (moreso than the last one anyway) so maybe the rules have gone back to how they were back during the first relay?

Addie can always ask on tuesday night what we can and cant have for the weekend

Yeah, and having our 'camps' on the outside of the track will be different. I imagine we can be closer to our cars this time around though, not that it makes a huge difference.
