    The chair covers were dead easy. Its just one piece of calico pinned to the backs of the chair. Print out the names on to paper, tape to the back and trace over with a marker pen.

    Brilliant! im working on tent decoration at the moment....and i volunteer for the talent contest, i can do some pretty nifty things with a rope....in a costume all the while :p

    Hi guys,

    This year I will be going as Dorothy form The Wizard of Oz. I am making a yellow brick road to go infront of my tent. I am also making some toadstools to go along with it, but have a question that I was hoping someone could help me with. How do I make sure that they stay in the grounded with out falling down or blowing away?

    I would appreciate any suggestions or idea's. Thankyou in advance! :D [:D]

    Tent pegs. Tape them to the back of the items, with bits hanging out hte bottom, and push them into the ground ;)

    Clever DM!

    I have completed chair covers with names on them, two of the three stars I need to make and have written with T Shirt paint on the back of my shirt the names of the Survivors and In Memory Of the people I walk for!! I will bring my paint pen to the Relay, they dry pretty quick, so if anyone wants to write a name on their shirt, they can! ;)

    Also, just checked the weather for Saturday in Victor - 24 and Sunny! 14 over night (not terribly cold, but do bring a jacket!) Will post Sundays predition tomorrow! :D

    Very Emotional Indeed Adalia, thankyou for the reminder @};-

    Also I have been planning our road trip to Victor Harbor for Adam, LTG, DLA and Myself
    and DLA suggested that I post this as some of us haven't been to this oval before (or we may of forgotten), but the Cancer Council states the Relay is off of Bacchus Rd, however you can't get onto Bacchus Rd, from the main roads, unless you go a little out of your way.

    However I assume that most of us will be travelling in from Victor Harbor Ring Rd, down Armstrong Rd, therefore just a reminder there is a little unnamed road off to the right of Armstrong Rd, look out for the Sign saying Encounter Bay Recreation Grounds, and turn right down this road, it will take you straight to the oval. (blink and you will miss the sign) I have done a bit of googling and made the below picture so we know where to look for.
