Exactly. That's why the First Order decommissioned the clone army, so that Snoke, previously dispersed among all the clones, could reform into a single being, as he was before the Clone Wars.

 

So Snoke is just a bunch of decaying old clones stitched together? That makes more sense than half the theories out there.

Ya - I dislike TFA, but the acting was definitely not why. Both the old and new actors felt right at home in the Star Wars universe, particularly Daisy Ridley.

Agree. They all did a good job. I just personally found most of the characters themselves to be bland and uninteresting. There's some things I wanna know like who's Snoke and where did the Knights of Ren come from. Other things like who are Rey's parents don't interest me at all.

 

Snoke is a fake. It's a repeat of the Wizard of Ozzy, or whatever it was where that guy was behind a curtain.

If you don't mind, I'd like to talk more about this. What does it mean to say "the most directly influenced by Latin"? All Romance languages are Latin in the sense that they are all different dialects that evolved their own way until they became (more or less) mutually unintelligible. Are we talking about which appears the most "unchanged" from Latin? And if so, I'm not sure how Romanian has a claim to greater Latinity. I know Romanian speakers like to flaunt their case system as an archaic feature, but from what I understand a huge proportion of Romanian vocabulary consists of Slavic loans, and that Romanian went through a period of self-conscious relatinization via adoption of Latin and French neologisms.
Phonologically, French is very far removed from Latin. That is very true.

Sardinian, on the other hand, never got around to palatalizing Latin /k/ before front vowels. If you're looking for archaic survivals, that's your Romance language.
