AGAIN: I do not hate ROTJ. I still have seen it more times than I've seen virtually most movies ever. Ranking it lower than ROTS, for example, does not mean I think it sucks.

 

The first game is actually one of my favorite SW games and arguably the only good SW game post PS2. The second one........shouldn't of happened tbh.

 

Sepra They all drag at the beginning, EXCEPT Famous Original Star Wars, of course. Because Luke at Obi-Wan's house is obviously AMAZING and heart-destroying and I am always right.

AOTC/TFA are joint first for me

 

I'm finding it more and more difficult to rank the 7 SW films as I learn more about them.
They are ALL so great!

I can never really rank them.

My son told me I'm not allowed to say that 4 is my favorite anymore because even to his young eyes it is obvious I love 3 the most, hahahaha.

So, currently, if pressed:

...but even then, my rankings are pretty flimsy.

 

Yeah sorry. Once they get to Ben, it all picks up really fast.

 

My rankings are pretty narrow. I love all of them, they're all close runner ups of the other. So when I say I like ROTJ more than ANH, I basically like them the same by everything but a sliver.

 

HOW DARE YOU SHOW ME REALITY.

See folks? This is why I don't always mesh with the Mass Fanbase. Because at least I know my weird hangups ARE BECAUSE OF ME.

Well, if I where to rank them by favorite, it would probably go like this:

ROTJ
TPM
AOTC/ESB
ROTS (sorry peeps, but this one was always hard to swallow as a kid. SO SAD. Still, it get's better with each viewing)
ANH

TFA would be waaaay down the line though (sorry to any fans )

El Jedi Colombiano no offense taken at all my friend I never get irritated that people don't like the films I like or rank them low. Films are an art form, Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and that's why I am not ashamed to say I am not that big of a fan of ROTS, I wish I was but I just don't like it as much as the others. But eh, the beauty of film as I say

For the record, everyone, I am the exact opposite of angry right now.

 

The second one then comes along, you thought the first one was convoluted this one takes the biscuit.

Kamino is fun to do but can't remember killing any Kaminoans.

Of course the two things you want are Juno Eclipse and Revenge on Vader.

So you find Rahm Kota now fighting in a gladiator pit.
The GOROK appears that "eats Rancors for breakfast". Truer words have never been spoken.
It then proceeds to smash the world around you while you keep making jokes with Rahm Kota who has a pretty sad life.

Of course Vader can't be arsed this time round so hires Boba Fett to track you down. Why not?

We team up with the Rebellion. AGAIN. but not before the ship's attacked and we have to face weird mech robots whilst the ship is being torn apart. And we're being chased by Boba Fett.

Boba Fett seems a little lost in the game as if he's ill or something because he's terrible.

We need to go to Kamino again. So we do to fight Vader.
In one of the most IMPOSSIBLE duels of the games.
It ends with different versions but at this point you do not care and realised the second one sucked.

I had it for WII so it probably makes it 10000x worse because of the silly controls.
It's like half the content of the first game but nothing new or exciting happens.

I eagerly awaited TFU3 but someone didn't have the guts.

(TFU 1 was more creative than TFA though, I enjoyed it more)

 

The only one that is always tops for me is 5. Mainly due to several personal reasons. It is in my top 5 movies of all time, including any and all genres.

Its hard to rank the others. Like Sepra said, the differences are only by a sliver.
AotC has been rising in esteem for me since I joined JCF though, so that's cool.

Congrats on making me literally laugh out loud.

 

The lure of the first being Vader's apprentice was cool but the second was just a mess. Clone Starkiller was pure fanfic. Sure the first is too but it at least could be canon and make sense. Also I liked the idea of Starkiller finding the Rebellion and his family crest being used as their insignia. I thought that was incredibly clever. The first was a fun hack n slash game.

Also I quite liked both TFU games the first was good all around for me the second I mostly play for gameplay than story.
