I really don't want to see live action versions of characters like Ahsoka or Cad Bane. A minor character like Saw Garerra is cool but with some of the others I just like keeping them animated and with the actors who've always voiced them.

I wonder if they'd ever consider doing another animated movie?

I'd be all for an animated movie of some sort.....I mentioned in another thread animated versions of A New Dawn or Ashoka would be cool to see.

SIEGE OF MANDALORE ANYTHING. I'd prefer it to be animated though (it'd be hard to do that one as live action, anyways, because Rex, Anakin and Obi-Wan would all have to be recast, right? I mean, I love my guys but it would be sort of hilarious to use the original live action actors -- in that, immediately before leaving to rescue Palpatine, Obi-Wan and Anakin would briefly age by over a decade, then instantly de-age by over a decade as Revenge of the Sith starts several "hours" later in the timeline. LOL I mean, yes, Ewan and Hayden are largely ageless, but not completely. ;) ) And, if they recast all three of them just for that one part of the storyline, that'd be kinda weird. I dunno. It's an interesting thought though. I guess they could cut the Anakin, Ahsoka and Obi-Wan portion of the program but you'd still need Rex, and also you couldn't CUT ANAKIN AND AHSOKA'S PART from the Siege of Mandalore. For numerous reasons but most importantly because I NEED to see it.

Nevertheless. Stop talking about how it was supposed to be, stop hinting at it in the novels and JUST MAKE ME MY DAMN FINALE, DISNEY. I need closure! :_|I will pay good money for it!!

It will be disappointing if something like the Siege of Mandalore was left to comics or a book.

Oh yeah, leave that to me!

Or maybe it was a Fett fan with an agenda. They knew what they were doing here by distracting people.

The story is too good and too emotional and I need to see it too much for them to not ever make it. I don't understand why they can't just go direct-to-video or direct-to-Netflix or whatever.

I sometimes wonder if the forum here had anything to do with the amount of PT love and defense I see in YouTube and the internet in general these days. I've seen pretty much on every video that there's always people countering attacks made my PT RLM detractors. I love the "Watch RLM" response they give. It should be a meme at this point. They can't think for themselves and need a group of failed movie makers to make their claims. I wonder how they feel about his TFA vid. Hell, I can do an entire one on the OT and their plotholes and illogical thinking at times but luckily, I ain't an ******* like that.

Supposedly the TFA video is just him rambling for like 70% of the video against the PT and the Ring Theory-

At the end of the day, I think that regardless of how many movies are made by Disney, the rivalry will always be the same as it has always been- PT vs OOT fans-

Angry 40 year old nerd rage reviews are popular for some reason. Nostalgia Critic, RLM , Angry Joe, etc. Even critical humor, (Cinemasins, Honest Trailers). There isnt any fun anymore and everyone has the same opinion.

Oh the prequels, BVS, *insert any non-critical acclaim thing here*

Oh R rated movies, violent stuff, Gritty And Real Star Wars, Generic marvel movie, Generic action film recieved well.

These are the opinions of all these reviews and they are sooooo boring and an endless strokefest of cliche and generic. YouTube has become that. Especially within the SW community there.

Yeah I can't handle the RLM stuff, I even agree to an extent with some of the criticisms but it's just so freaking annoying to have to listen to I couldn't make it though TPM one.

I haven't seen a single second of those reviews and I don't intend to. In fact, I don't watch any reviews on youtube. I read some on imdb but that's rarely too.

Thanks AprilMayJune. And Bail B. Baobab. :)
I'm in the same boat, I haven't watched any SW reviews; I don't watch youtube vids often anyway, hence why I have no knowledge of the PT bashers on there; I don't feel like wasting my time if most of them don't like the PT. :p

I don't mind reviews that I disagree with as long as they are well thought out and not condescending. While they rarely change my opinion they can get you to looks at certain scenes, characters, etc. differently or get you to interpret something another way.

I really don't understand why unfinished/unaired TCW episodes cannot go to Netflix. It is a win-win for Disney.

Youtube was where I found out about the PT bashing. In the comment section of some videos people basically compete who will post a "funnier" insult for the CGI, dialogues, GL, Hayden... It's always the same complaints.
Things are not entirely bad though. Recently I watched a few PT videos and there were comments with many upvotes saying the prequels were good and they love them.

I just don't understand what it is with this fandom and its need to nitpick the hell out of something they hated. Like, at the end of the day, is it so hard to be like "eh, it just didn't do it for me?" and leave it alone? It's not like there isn't a zillion other things in the canon or EU you can dig into instead if one thing doesn't strike your fancy.

I mean, we all have our pet topics we like to complain about to an extent, but I didn't enter this fandom with the idea that I'd go around seeking out people to make them feel bad for liking something as utterly benign as a Star Wars movie.

I'm MUCH more interested in rhapsodizing to people about why I do love something in Star Wars. I've had blog readers write to me and say they pulled a 180 on TCW just because I was so enthusiastic about it and got them to look at it from a different, not quite-so-serious angle (or in some cases, got them to look at it at all). I find that kind of a thing -- sharing what makes me happy, and why it made me happy or made me laugh because it was so ridiculous or whatever -- far more rewarding and fun as a fan than griping about stuff I didn't like and trying to drag people WHO ENJOYED IT down with me.
