Yeah, sorry. I read "we can rule out any other faces" rather than rule in. I'm in 100% agreement on Revan being able to cut/dye his hair, or whatever. Or not even have one of the game faces. S'why I brought up scissors early on.

Saying something over and over again doesn't make it true. I like "mullet" (it's not a mullet) Revan as much as the next guy, and would have no problem if that was his true appearance... but there is no "clear intention".

They did an awful job, in that case, since the back of his head looks nothing like "mullet" Revan. In addition, his hair is considerably longer and of a different colour.

I must have missed that post. We're just continually misinterpreting each others now, aren't we? [face_laugh]

Anyway, I noticed that the Exile has a face very much resambling one of the game faces, but instead of a blonde hair her canonical hair is brown. That could well be the case for Revan - game face, non-game hair. Or as you said, a completely original face. I think I'd like that option best, since that doesn't alienate the players like if one face from the game was absolutely canonical over any of the other. I'd say bring a new, fresh look to be his.

It's listed as such on wookieepedia, but her official miniature has red hair (black with red highlights) and the pic of her with "brown" hair has her head completely obscured, bathed in lightsaber light and her hair colour blurs into her robe's colour. Until an official bio is published that says she has brown hair the pic they're going off for "she has brown hair" is as valid as the blond pictures of Ben Skywalker.

Of course, hair dye presumably exists in the star wars universe.

It definitely exists, albeit extremely advanced. Corran Horn used it in I, Jedi.

Let Me Rephrase My Question. Do You Like The White Skinned Black Haired Revan Face? Could This One Be The Canon Face?. I Still Like Mullet Man After All He Could Have Colored His Hair.

As much a hippie as Charles Manson turned out to be. Don't let that long hair fool you. ;)

Black long-haired Revan is non-canon in my eyes until we see it in-game. The timeline videos have been way off in terms of artwork.

    - Bastila facing Malak alongside Revan on the Star Forge
    - Revan using a blue, not purple, lightsaber during the Mandalorian Wars
    - Malak actually being shorter than Revan
    - Sith Trooper faces shown, rather than covered
    - Revan's dark lord outfit lacking a cape, looking very different
    - Revan not wearing his mask in the first place
    - Starkiller lightsaber stance for Revan, something not once seen in any artwork prior to the timeline

And so on. It's pretty clear that the timeline artists aren't paying attention to the KotOR videogame/comic canon in their depictions and so Revan's hair should be taken with a grain of salt.

I'm still hoping for an allowed fan vote to pick Revan and the Exile's face.

He was probably more popular in Australia - the longest serving PM was nicknamed "Ming the Merciless" after the character.
