@Dandelo Well, 3/4 ain't bad. Oh, you changed it to 5. Well, umm, I know you like Rain Man too, right? I thought Halloween woulda been in there since JC is your fav director. Well...it wouldn't be Labyrinth would it? Not in your top 10. Hmm. As Good As It Gets? Or maybe another SW film after AotC. That's probably it. I don't remember what your second fav SW film is though. Hopefully you remember as much about my film favs as I do yours. Lol. :p

    @Khalia Octa
Wow! You created that logo really quickly. You are truly the RYL photoshop queen.

    Agreed @Jedi Knight Fett

The best anybody would get out of me with the Top 10 question is Top 10's for different genres. And even then, I can't promise that my lists would remain absolutely consistent either. Thankfully I don't think anybody would care enough to bear reading all that. I really don't feel like bothering to put them all together. :p

Fun fact: both Avengers: Endgame and Batman v Superman are 182 minutes long.
This should greatly please Darkslayer, I imagine.

I don't have a list for films right now so im gonna do things that terrified me the most as a younger PJ (like, before Pre-Teen PJ and younger :p):

    10. Yoda's puppet in TPM, ESB, and ROTJ.

    9. Thinking my house was haunted at my older house, being reinforced by the fact that I would often call asleep on the couch and wake up in my bed, 5 year old me's mind somehow couldn't comprehend that my parents took me to my room while I was sleeping. There was also a time in 2017 where I started waking up with light cuts on my arms and legs, but not only was I not scared by that as I knew it was caused by me tossing and turning in my sleep, but I was also already a teen by then :p

    8. Oddly, whenever SpongeBob and Patrick like briefly die in the SpongeBob Movie :p

    7. Seeing Freddy Krueger's face anywhere (never saw any of the films besides Freddy vs Jason, but I saw Freddy's appearance on a VHS cover thing and it scared me until my grandmother showed me a making of Nightmare on Elmstreet Street thing that helped).

    6. Factory Scenes in Child's Play 2

    5. Anakin being on fire in Revenge of the Sith

    4. Weird repeating dreams of floating around and having this constant sense of falling during the dreams :p

    3. Emperor Palpatine

    2. The Ring TV Scene

    1. Evil Dead Remake Advertisements. I'm gonna be honest, I was a bit disappointed when I saw this movie. The advertisements on tv late at night used to keep me from sleeping constantly, and when I would sleep, I would often have recurring nightmares about demons, and these commercials alone started my fear of demon things in horror films (no demons in this thread or I will spam holy imagery :p) but I watched the film shortly after it started airing on tv, and it wasn't disturbing at all. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it, but I enjoyed it as a mindless gore fest, not a scary experience.

Now you know younger PJ's worst fears :p

.......but you don't know current PJ's fears [face_mischief]

But what I'm basically saying is: yes, let's do RYL D&D at some point :)

I have no idea how you'd set that up, I've only played it once, and it was a 'loose' interpretation of the rules to say the least ;)

I've not seen any Alien movies, though I have been to some of the filming locations for Prometheus, in Iceland, like the Golfuss (Gold Falls) waterfall.

It was a school trip, and my Geography teacher was actually watching Prometheus on the flight over :p

Ok, since we're doing movie rankings, guess it's only fair I do mine (for like the hundredth time ;)).

    1. Atlantis: The Lost Empire
    2. Treasure Planet
    3. The Fellowship of the Ring
    4. 9
    5. The Phantom Menace

After that it becomes super tricky to do any objective ranking, there's just too many films I like too much. Also, the ones that are part of a series stand in for all the others, so I don't clog the rankings with a bunch from the same franchise.

I'll have a tentative stab at a list though:

    6. The Iron Giant
    7. Kubo and the Two Strings
    8. The Prince of Egypt
    9. The Hunchback of Notre Dame
    10. Star Trek (2009)

Honourable Mentions: BTTF Part 3, Aladdin, WALL-E, The Incredibles, Kung-Fu Panda, Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Watchmen

One fear I still definitely have was caused by the tv show Inside No. 9. For anyone who hasn't seen the show, it's an anthology series (kinda like Black Mirror, but more surreal and less tech focused).

One episode was a Christmas Special, The Devil of Christmas. It's an amazing episode, they accurately recreate a low-budget 1977 horror movie using the exact same tech restrictions and techniques, it's a thing of beauty if you've ever seen a video-taped studio production from that time (Eg. 70's Doctor Who). It's basically a send-up of the whole thing, with a joky 'director's commentary' over many scenes. It's great.

But right at the end there's a twist into more real horror, involving a guy dressed as the Krampus attacking someone in a bed. Like, it's meant to be a bit unsettling, but the episode as a whole is more comedy than horror. Still, something about it was just enough to make me feel uncomfortable (there's more context that makes it even creepier, but I won't spoil).

So now sometimes I have an irrational fear of the Krampus macheteing me in my sleep. Fun :)
