The next day I stopped in at Vader, Washington.









I can't believe only 600 people live there. How could anyone not want to live in a town named Vader?

Actually, even the guy who it is named after moved away to Florida at some point.

 

My Vader sign would say "I find your lack of faith disturbing. Be careful not to choke on your aspirations. That is correct."

 

I don't know whether it's considered courteous or professional to always send thank you letters after job rejections, but since they a) made me jump through hoops for the application and interview process and b) sent a generic automated rejection (not from the recruiter I'd been in touch with)... I'm not gonna.

I'm not in a great mood today anyway.

The argument with that Huttese is sometimes jobs open up unexpectedly, people leave unexpectedly and suddenly you may get a phone call or email.

 

Boring job anyway.

Ha. I almost forgot I said that at work today. Some snippy customer on the phone who got mad at me because I "wasn't going to help her" (I did, just didn't tell her what she wanted to hear). She was like NO IT'S FINE and hung up. I was like "boring conversation anyway."

It was entry-level sales, I honestly did not want the job. If they had offered it to me, I most likely would have turned them down. It's just that I would have liked the option. And even if I did take it, it was now or never. In four, six, twelve months I'll have already made other plans. Not gonna plan my long-term career around this time suck.

I don't even know what I would say. Like, "thanks for considering me... but just not considering me hard enough."

Or "nah all good. It's mutual. I just hope we can still be friends."

And I didn't even have an e-mail contact for the interviewer.

Lol, been doing research on gun control and the second amendment for 3 hours and I only found 2 sources that I really liked.

 

The last company I had an interview with never message be back at all

Well, finally got out of my car after 20 hours (last night, that is. Then, I went to sleep and I just woke up ) and now I'm in New Jersey. I haven't gone to NYC yet, but I probably will today. Still won't be online much, just wanted to give a quick update.




Also, I got a little bit of food from a gas station (yeah, not that good, but it was the cheapest option) and the little box thingy or whatever that the food was in said "PJ Fresh"..........

 

I think you may be right. He is now a $1.5 Billionaire

 

I can't even imagine what I'd do with that much money.

 

At least there’ll be other jackpots, maybe not as much money but still. And I feel like most of the ppl you hear about who won big w/the lotto end up in a sorry state afterwards.

Lol, I freak out if I find 10 bucks while cleaning my room. I’d be a complete mess if I found out I had bought the golden ticket.
