So I'm rewatching ROTS as you do (Grievous' voice is ridiculously fun to imitate), and I noticed this little detail:


Yeah, that goofy little clone is riding a luminous caterpillar. I remember seeing that detail in one of visual guides years ago, but I've never noticed that it's actually in the film. That Clone might just be favourite background character in ROTS now The Clone so lazy he tamed a Caterpillar. Just look at this magnificent guy:

 

It'd be cool if he was part of a special 'Wrangler Squadron' or 'Wrangler Troopers'. They'd be the unit that specializes in taming-and-mobilizing the local wildlife of any planet best suited for ground warfare, like the Stormtrooper we see riding a Dewback in A New Hope.

 

That's definitely going in my headcanon now. Caterpillar Clone trains his own regiment of Riders, and the Troopers in ANH were his Apprentices
