Tbh, I think I should keep them forever after watching every episode of Inhumans as they aired. I deserve compensation for my trauma.

 

Off out for a walk in the freezing cold

 

I'm back, with no posts at all in-between, must be quiet today Went out for a winter-time walk in Savernake Forest and got a couple of of nice shots of the woods. Also saw a group of 7 deer run across the path, they were lovely, but too fast to get a photo

 

The Hawkeye show is certainly off to a good start.

Arguably the best Star Wars film

 

I'm enjoying The Stand halfway through it now.

 

TPM is definitely the best SW film that was released in the 1990s.

 

Back some seeing RENT with the folks:

Depressing as heck, but great music and fantastic stage design. 4 stars.

 

I saw the movie but I imagine the play is better. Probably gonna watch Rocketman again later I really enjoyed it.

 

Forget the movie, best to see it live.

 

The guy who plays Elton did a fantastic job. Rocketman is a cool film. My favorite scene is when he names himself after Lennon lol.

 

I'd say the Queen movie is better, but I'm more into Elton John than Queen so I liked Rocketman more. Agreed, the actor did a great job. I've been listening to a lot of Elton's 70's stuff; it's amazing.

 

Never saw Rocketman.

 

Bohemian Rhapsody is a fun, heartfelt movie and a nice tribute to Queen, but the condensing of the timeline was next level like when Freddie finds out he's HIV positive, reconciles with his family, and plays Live Aid all in the SAME DAY! Lol.
It was something like that. Or a few other scenes that condensed years into days. Yeah, they were a little pressed for time in the film.

I prefer Rocketman cause it just went full throttle musical fantasy and didn't necessarily strive for realism or strict continuity. And Elton approved it and was involved at least.

I mean, Queen were involved in their film too, but not Freddie sadly. RIP.
Like David Bowie and John Lennon, Freddie was another musical genius.
