I would say that, no it's not new, as you said it's in the things you mentioned,
but is it ruining SW? for me personally, yes it is. Partly.
I don't watch Star Wars for witches, I'm sorry but that is not what it's about.
I'm not against exploring witchcraft in media, so this isn't some puritan "no bad stuff in my SW"
heck I even have an RPG in this very forum about the topic which I consider myself well versed in.
I just don't think it fits Star Wars at all.

and Iapologise if that rather flippant remark, came across as more serious or Conspiracy Theorist than was intended.
I will say though, it IS baffling to me,
but as I always try to be fair and point out...it's baffling to some I like GB2

I'd actually find it funny.

you do realise the crap that movie and Road House get right?

I'd even try to actually consider if the criticisms are fair or not, (and shock, horror they often are)

and in the case in one of those movies, it is probably not objectionably a good film (in fact it's a bit of a mess)

so, no I wouldn't take issue with it all, I never once have took issue with anyone not liking something I do...

even if they said to me "you're just trying to convince yourself..." i'm not that fragile...about ******* movies/tv shows
