    ...makes me wonder WHY they don't just make a movie out of this game, IF they did it like this. It's the best "trailer" I've seen in a while!

    A halo movie has been in the works for years, in fact, Peter Jackson was going to direct it at one point.

    There is a script, but Microsoft wouldn't back it with funds and neither would anyone else. But this trailer goes to show how BA it would be so I don't know why not. They've made other crap movies based on video games but I think this one could be awesome. But they didn't get the money and did District 9 instead. So, yeah, I hope now Jackson picks the script back up and is able to get the money behind it. And I was never a big Halo fan but would still like to see this.

    i completely agree! Whoever directed this commercial should def direct the movie if they ever make one. It really got the emotions and feelings of the military. Just Awesome.
