Yes it's NOT White or Ivory or Mother Of Pearls . . . .

But IMHO, all her gowns, even the nightgowns are beautiful. Hate it that I was concentrating more on her gowns than on the movie.

 

Thanks for the info DJ. I agree all her gowns are beautiful. Of course I like some more than others, but all Padme's costumes are stunning in my eyes.

 

Did anyone see the picture of her white cape helmet in the DVD? It's kind of funny looking but it was really cool to see something that didn't make it. Guess old Lucas thought people would make fun too much.

 

Actually, you can see that in the actual film, it's not just in the DVD. I didn't notice it myself until I saw it on IMAX. Anyways, during Shmi's funeral, you can see Padme holding it in her right hand as she stands next to the Lars' family. I probably didn't recognize it until I saw it in the IMAX version because (besides the immense size) I didn't know what it was until after I saw it in the regular theaters.

PS. I saw the coke can in the IMAX version finally! hahaha...

What Coke can?

 

I learned this from someone else on the forum (I forget who, but oh well). You know on the balcony scene when Anakin and Padme first arrive at the retreat? Well after they kiss, the camera zooms out on the back of them and if you look down and to the left you can see a coke can lying on it's side on the bottom edge of the railing. It's a lot more noticable in the IMAX version though.

 

It always makes me wonder why they didn't just edit that out digitally, especially since Lucas has deals with Pepsi, not Coke.

 

Haha, yeah. Seems like everyone has deals with Pepsi, not Coke, except J.K. Rowling.
