Welcome to the September New Stories Index for the Before the Saga Board!

This Index will be updated daily with new fan fiction stories from this board, and at the end of the month all of these stories will be combined to make a master list, along with fics from both the Beyond the Saga and The Saga Boards.

Starting this month, I will be maintaining this index. If you have any questions, please feel free to send me a Private Message. I will try to locate new stories every day, but you're welcome to send me the info for your fic through PM.

Title: Facing the Darkness

Timeframe: A week after the end of KotOR II.

Author's Note: This is a story some time after the Jedi Exile defeated the three Sith Lords and went to search for Revan in the Unknown Regions.
Yuthura Ban, survivor of the First Jedi Purge and former Sith Lord is the main character in this story when she joins Revan and the Exile in their battle against the Ancient Sith Empire.

Disclaimer/Acknowledgements: Thanks to George Lucas and the guys at BioWare and Obsidian for making this great game KOTOR, and now for me to make a fanfic about it.
Summary: Even though the Republic was sucessful at destroying the three sith lords, the sith are still conquering the galaxy. One by one they took control of the core planets, and the Republic gathered their forces and refugees and set off for the unknown regions, for a new beginning.

Author's Notes: This is one bunny that bit me quite awhile ago, but it took me a long while to finally do it. The song is Without You by Kimberley Locke and Clay Aiken and the story takes place around the events of Secrets of the Jedi. Enjoy!

Author Notes: I hope this turns out halfway readable The challenge was Padawan Qui-Gon, a droid, Medicated Jedi Masters, a clown, romance and Naboo. I think I got it all in. The thread this challenge originated from can be found here: From Before to Beyond: the Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan Discussion Thread . I also decided to try to experiment with doing something dialogue-only.

Disclaimer: Thanks to George Lucas and his creation of Star Wars, for now I can make this fanfic.
Summary: 35 years of rebuilding the Mandalorian Clans have past, but many have been reduced to nothing. Some rose to be powerful, like the clan Vizor, the strongest Mandalorian Clan. Soon the Mandalorians held a meeting to decided to go to war with the Republic or not, Corridus Vizor, a veteran war hero was selected to be Mandalore. Many clan's disagreed and the clans broke out into a all out war. The remaining clans formed into just two clans to match Vizor and the other clan. Thus Ordo and Talon became the other most powerful. Corridus, however, has his four trained sons to do the job he once did. But now something far worse is upon the Mandalorians. The Republic decided to wipe their kind off the galaxy in this last act, knowing that the clans will not form up under any circumstances. It is a moment of death, glory, and honor.
