Discussion Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy Star Wars Movie - NOT FILMING April 7th, 2024 (Blame Fredrik!)

Clearly Filoni has learned the art of essence transfer, and has commandeered the body of Iger in order to cancel the Rey movie. It’s the only explanation.

 

John Rocha has heard from multiple sources that this movie is a mess behind the scenes.

 

His co podguest Jeff Sneider, you can trust but John Rocha is hit and miss sometimes like Campea and Harloff

 

They all used to work together at Collider.

 

On waiting longer to do this movie. By the time it comes out we could possibly be looking at 2027 of it’s delayed. What truly is the difference between this and 10 years? 2 years is not a whole lot of time all things considered.

 

They are either making this 2026 December or summer 2027. But delay of this might also delay all other movies.

 

Where in the world are you getting these specific dates from, and why are you stating them with such confidence?

Just my speculated dates. Rey will be after Mandalorian and Grogu, so they must finnish this before the other movies. This is the future of Star Wars here.

Ah… this is really unexpected, but I just read that George Lucas is consulting on this, and he’s considering taking a crack at the screenplay (he made it clear he doesn’t want to direct though). Since at this point none of the characters he created would still be around (unless R2, 3PO or Chewie show up) I wonder if this raises the odds of Luke’s ghost appearing, or Luke actually being resurrected through the Force somehow? Maybe Force ghost Anakin, or Anakin and Luke doing stuff in the netherworld of the Force?

The article also explicitly refers to the movie as Episode X, but not sure if that’s just them speculating. Source for the rumour is below.
