    ...while the four year-old girls had gotten what they called 'princess gear' - long pink dresses and crowns, a fully equipped makeup kit, and a fake holdout blaster, because they were the kind of princesses that could take care of themselves.


    My three year old asked for “princess jewelry and makeup” from Santa. And now I desperately want to add a fake holdout blaster because that is toooooo adorable. OMG. I love it, gal!! So sweet, so loving and perfect. [face_love]

    I am that kind of princess too. I don't know how to shoot but I am not afraid to scream, my teeth are sharp and a well aimed kick or stomp will set me free.

    My mom was the one excited to see her little ones reactions to their presents so she would get Harley and Raquel up early to open presents. In later years it would be Raquel waking all of us younger ones up to at least empty the stockings. Now we wake around five to look at the stockings and, depending on the shift my dad is working, presents are opened before six.

    Awwwww! That was so sweet! I love love love the princess gear. I remember seeing SW for the first time (yes, in the1970s!) and being so impressed with a princess who took charge and rocked it for herself. I love how you incorporated that feeling.

    Really enjoyed this. :)
