    Stuffed peppers.

I cooked for the woman out of my Jamie Oliver book on Sat. Annoying bloke, nice grub though.

I've been up since 4.30. At work since 6.00 and not likely to get home 'til nearly midnight.

It's gonna be soup. And toast. And bed...

We got the Nigella book. A Nigel Slater Book and a Madwoman Jaffrey book :)

My curry is out of the Madwoman's book.

There was a thread on cooking curry here last week wasn't there?

I get the day off tomorrow and I'm gonna make a real pukka one in the afternoon ('tis my new year's resolution!).

Anybody got any (more) tips for a wicked vegetarian curry? I was gonna use coconut milk. I fink...

LOL, Madwoman Jeffery. Does all have recipies have coconut in it? Everytime I saw her cook on TV she put coconut/coconut milk in her curry. It's hardly ever used unless you are Ms Jeffery.

Today I am going to have some boring food. A Marks and sparks pizza. My mum works for the company that makes them and the staff shop sells £4 pizzas at 5 for £1. Me and my sis have a frezzer full. :)

A fruit cereal bar. And just out of curiosity, how many of you actually have tea with "tea?"

My flat-mate laughed long and hard at me last week for having a cuppa with our evening meal. I told him where to go...

... but normally it's a class of water (or wine) and then a nice cuppa afterwards! :)

I sometimes like a cuppa with my tea.

    Or water or juice sometimes.

The only true way of testing whether a curry is worthy or not, is the morning after test. If it's an explosive morning then well done- you have succeeded.

How spicy did you make the curry Cass. Must say I've never tried making curry from a roast before.

Medium, Chet. I dont like them too hot. I added about half a teaspoonful of Cayenne Pepper and loads of black pepper to my recipe for that wee extra kick.

    It was really yummy.

:_| Now I'm hungry again, and I just finished lunch.

ED: Medium to medium/hot is the best. Anything more and it makes no diference to how it is cooked.

I had pork chops under the grill with a yoghurt and coarse grain mustard sauce..and some baby veg...

The sauce was a bit of an experiment..but it worked a treat
