Solo Solo: A Star Wars Story Trailer #2

Wasn't expecting the trailer to look so stylish.

Gave me blade Runner vibes

 

well your in Germany right? so your trailer was in German Language right? may be it was a bad dub.

 

The shot of the Star Destroyer in the space storm felt like something out of Rebels. And that's a compliment.

 

I get that but.. man the Empire Era ends itself so well to that style. I hope the movie is still well fun and not like Rogue One

 

The music's Vangelis-ish.
I don't know where the mood of the movie is going yet. Of course if it travels between serious and dramatic and comedy, that's fine.

We shall see what we see.

 

Ditto on this for me. All I was hoping for was world building that intrigued me, and 100% I got it.

 

Okay-found it on youtube. Pretty impressive so far. They did wonders with the actor's look.

 

A pseudo Legends of Lasat or Secret Cargo (whatever one had Mon Mothma in it) perhaps?
That was an awesome visual.

 

Still trying to work out what planet is what. The only thing we know for sure is that the Speeder chase/race happens on Corellia. Is the misty planet Mimban or is that dust from the Kessel Mines? Guessing the train that Tobias is fighting on is a Kessel Spice carrier.

 

Lando looked cool. That fur coat!

 

I hope not.

ETA: I meant I hope that it's not just a mislead. I hope it does have to do with Han.

Is it confirmed PG-13 or are they going for rated R?

I don’t know many kids who saw RO. Would be cool for an R-rated Anthology film at some point.

Edit: Also, I always recalled the story that Han was an imperial cadet who dropped out when his heart of gold made him want to save the life of a certain Wookiee named Chewbacca.

 

I was always planning on seeing this but I wasn't overly excited like I was for TLJ. Until now. Just that brief teaser has me hyped like crazy.

 

the teaser looks nothing like Star Wars IMO. But to be honest I did not expect anything from Solo and it confirms it that this is not a movie to watch.

I just did not like the trailer, but the movie might be good.

 

Teasers these days are more like first Trailers.

I absolutely loved The Trailer I to got a Blade Runner vibe which Is Awesome I especially liked the New Blade Runner!

Welp. It looks better than I expected. So that's that at least. I do see some world building creativity here, but not much else. Kinda wish this was just a Lando movie.

 

I need more footage.
Good enough for me.
Read many books and comics by many different authors.
All of them felt like SW.
This movie? Just adding another perspective on the SW universe.
