Spider-man is dead

    I saw on the news that Marvel killed off Peter Parker, and are going to replace him with a biracial latino/african american that might Marvel said possibly be gay. Peter Parker was killed while facing the Green Goblin. Your thoughts?

    It was in the Ultimate Universe so its not really as shocking an event. That being said, I give it a year. By the time the next Spidey movie comes out Peter will be back somehow.

    From what I understand, characters in the Ultimate universe tend to stay dead.

    Anyways, while you're welcome to bring this up in the Spider-Man and Marvel movie threads so far as it pertains to speculation for the films, discussion of events/stories from books and comics should go in the SFAF: Books and Comics forum, not here.
