    Do Norman & Harry Osbourne exist in the MCU timeline?
    Obviously we haven't seen them yet, that doesn't mean they aren't there along with Oscorp

    Yeah someone did say it looks like something punches Lizard in mid-air before stuff starts collapsing.

    But I really don't see the purpose of editing stuff like that out at this point, it's more likely to sell the movie to have those characters in it.

    So, again from the trailer...
    The Doc Ock scene with the highway fight... is exactly the same location/signage as the goblin-bomb explosion/masked Green Goblin showing up over the highway signs.

    So, again, Ock is seemingly like a good guy (or at least not-bad guy) here and will fight Goblin?

    i think it's entirely plausible, from the hints in the trailer, that octavius helps peter and strange at some point in this film. either as an ally to avoid whatever fate strange is referencing that peter tries to stop, or temporarily hoodwinking them as part of a larger game.

    all of these villains being brought back, with the exception of osborn, were depicted as semi-to-very "redeemable" characters at the end of their respective films, so we'll need to know what happened in between to make them bad again. sandman ended his film in a truce with tobey peter, and lizard/octavius saved the lives of their versions of spiderman with their last acts. electro was such a poorly constructed character that it's hard to say if any good remained in him.

    could see any or all of them turning on norman.

    Yeah, I think one of the key pieces here is...
    These people aren't necessarily the versions from the movies we've seen. Electro in particular looks nothing like ASM2 Electro.

    I'm still betting Doc Ock is from a universe where Spider-Man is actually bad like JJJ keeps saying.

    It’s also possible that the spell that brought them to the MCU is simply influencing their behavior in some way.

    Bold prediction. When MJ is
    falling
    she is
    saved suddenly by Andrew Garfield's Spiderman in his first appearance in the movie.
    . That would be some amazing catharsis after what happened in
    ASM2
    and would be an absolutely
    incredible way to introduce him into the film.

    I don’t think that’ll be his first appearance in the film since that appears to be the climax. I do think Andrew Spidey will save her though. Tom Spidey has his Iron-Spider suit on but the hand that reaches out doesn’t look like the Iron-Spider suit.

    I read a suggestion I doubt we’ll see but would be really cool if done:

    She’s saved by Spider-Gwen, giving Emma Stone a cameo as well. Highly, highly unlikely to happen, but would definitely shock a lot of people who expect it to be Andrew.

    Regarding trailer villains:
    Sandman doesn't die in Spider-man 3. He just floats away. So if he's dead, he's dead from a universe other than one established which would also explain why we have a different looking Electro.

    if you all want to, i think you can speak freely about the trailer without spoiler tags. only did it last night because of the late release time of it, and didn't want people to open the thread this morning and get spoiled without having had a chance to watch it themselves.

    Trailer Theory: That moment in the trailer when MJ is falling, in the next scene it cuts to Timothée Chalamet just dreaming about Zendaya again. The whole movie is actually a Timothée Chalamet dream and the full movie title is actually "No Way Home Part One."
