Lumiya's first appearence was in an issue of Marvel Star Wars comics that was published in July 1984. However Lumiya was not yet revealed to be Shira Brie. She faced off against Leia in that story.

 

I heard that Lumiya was one of the better stories of the Marvel Comics.

 

Oh i really want to get that book, looks good. Does it give alot of new info besides the fight between Lumiya and Mara?

I want a Lumiya Trilogy.


1) Dark Star of the Empire
-With the Empire gone, Lumiya must finish what Palpatine and Vader started: The complete and utter destruction of the Jedi. But first, the Dark Lady needs an apprentice.

2) Galactic Conspiracy
-Lumiya's the quest to find the ultimate apprentice brings her to Vergere, where they come up with the greatest plot of all time.

3) Future's End
-With the invasion of the Yuuzhan Vong drawing near, Lumiya must set up the pieces to her plan before they arrive, including the creation of a lost fleet and engineering the eventual Vong capture of Jacen Solo.

My mind can be kind of fluid with Marvel Star Wars, unfortunately. I even accidentally bought an extra copy of that issue due to that very fact.

She clever, beautiful (even notwithstanding what has made with her Luke, and does not try to revenge Skywalker for all (it I about LotF). She very much is pleasant to me also I is glad, what exactly it became teacher Dzhejsena.
It is a pity that her so have silly killed. She is a worthy competitor of Mara/

Unfortunately, I a little that know about how Lumiya cut out Prophets of the Dark side, but about Vergere I can tell the following: it seems to me, she therefore has accepted her, that wanted to receive new knowledge and... To strengthen as itself, and the sith doctrine. Lumiya was the clever woman and all over was asked a question why Vader and Palpatine which were considered practically invincible, and she, have sufferred not one defeat by hand jedi-half-educated persons and rebels. Vergere could learn much her. And it seems to me, that Lumiya nevertheless was her apprentice.

 

I always figured Vergere was not really a sith or a jedi. She was more grey then either but to dark to be grey and not dark enough to be a dark jedi if you know what I mean. Vergere never actually said she was a sith just trained in it's way but she also never spoke the truth so.....

Lumiya to me was just to impatient, I think if she had truly wished to continue the sith order she would have left the skywalker blood line alone or target some one like Jacen's daughter. Manpulating them at a young age so that they didn't mess up like Jacen had....

 

Oh I just had a terribly wonderful horrible idea....What if during that time Lumiya had instucted a true heir to the mantle of Dark Lady. Naturally I don't see her wanting to work with the one sith...maybe help them but so that HER order, HER legacy could in the end be victorus.

She knew the plan and in the end she would have known that the order of one would fail, but it would give her more then enough time to train someone other then Jacen. What if Jacen was like Mara in her eyes only a hand or pawn to the sith....

 

See that would be cool to see....don't you think but I figured it'd be instrusting if Lumiya's order was one that was female's only. From Dark Lady to Dark Lady....

 

Perhaps she believes that is where the strength lies? just a thought.
