I'm not sure her search for a new apprentice would make a whole book. Flint she found upon deciding she was Dark Lady, though her meeting Carnor Jax and his Blackhole troopers would be curious to read.

I'd enjoy Galactic Conspiracy, actually.

Now we know that Shadowspawn is probably going to retconned into Blackhole, I wonder more if Lumiya will appear in Shadows of Mindor.

What do you know about Shadowspawn, then, Vivec?

 

Lord Shadowspawn is a Prophet of the Dark Side and former head of Imperial Intelligence. He is the main Sithy villain from the upcoming book, Luke Skywalker and the Shadows of Mindor, out October, by Matthew Stover (!). He's a minor character that is about to become a major threat 1.5 years after Endor, and looks as if he's about to be retconned into two other secretive darksiders - Lord Cronal/Blackhole and Atha Prime - giving him a large backstory as a villain.

Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader are dead. The Empire has been toppled by the triumphant Rebel Alliance, and the New Republic is ascendant. But the struggle against the dark side and the Sith order is not over. Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Lando Calrissian, and their faithful comrades have had little time to savor victory before being called on to defend the newly liberated galaxy.
