A harsh take, but not without some merit. Regarding the temple I'd speculate that Palpatine & Vader would both want the power/knowledge of the holocron for themselves. That's why they haven't co-operated to get it. Vader says in this episode that it was going to go to the Emperor. Do we believe that?

I do agree that this would've been the perfect end for Ahsoka though. That her & Maul are still around is kind of nuts. I just hope the death toll in the remaining seasons is "catastrophic". The decks need to be cleared prior to ANH.

 

How would you guys feel if Ahsoka fell to the darkside?

 

Wouldn't buy it. Why would she fall? She doesn't crave power.

Also, remember Vader was walking "into the light" and Ahsoka descending into the darkness....

 

Maybe her walking into the darkness doesn't mean she will be a bad person, but a broken person. The one person she had who was probably the biggest influence in her life turned into the biggest mistake for the galaxy. She probably feels betrayed, abandoned, and broken. I think her going into the darkness was not her going to the darkside, but her just not sure what to do.

 

Maybe it's me, but when I watched the scene, it didn't look like she walked back in. It looked like she fell. As in her wounds were too great and she was dying.

She 'should' be dead, but she'll miraculously survive no doubt. Vader should have ended her and Maul in this episode, but that's another rant for another day. The fact Vader struggled to defeat Ahsoka bugs me no end and I hope Filoni doesn't do to Vader what he done to General Grievous in TCW.
