To be fair she was hardly in them and only got added late in the game because she looked cool. Also other then her getting tackled by Chewie and getting in a trash compector, she got a flight with Finn and only lost because of what ignorrance, because she didn't look back. She's just like Boba Fett, and he's only popular becose off his armor and mystery, he's darth is the worse character death i ever have Ween and yesshe's dead sorry EU hardcore's.

The problem I am having with the depiction of the First Order we are seeing in the comics (first IDW and now Marvel) is I am not seeing them as evil dogmatic troops. TBH they seem like normal troops we would see in any army. Finn does not stand out as being much different than the other soldiers in his one shot.

I like how they're having fun with Holdo and Maz. We need more stories with those two.

The Finn one was okay because I kind of like how Finn was doing good even in the depths of the First Order. Phasma one was better if only because I loved how cold she was at the end. Although that's two Phasma Marvel comics that ended with her basically killing off other First Order people for her own benefit. Haven't read the Phasma novel but the write up in the back basically told the whole thing in 2 paragraphs anyway.

Are we getting the Maz jetpack story? Cuz I totally want the Maz Jetpack story.

Not in this story. But she does get a badass moment along the lines of Rocket Raccoon and the Winter Soldier in Infinity War.

 

Maz is one of the most interesting characters of the new era. I would totally like a miniseries or new series following her. That little stint where she had the jetpack, she looked like a badass haha.

 

Maz is like SW's version of Star Trek's Guinan(who was partially based on Yoda and a speakeasy owner during the Prohibition era).

 

Maz is also Yoda's ex in my headcanon

 

Concerning AOR Special

(1) Maz - nice little story, but felt a little Marvel-esque

(2) Holdo - she'll definitely be remembered for her changing hair color and impressive maneuvers if the TLJ and this comic have anything to say about it

Thanks to wookieepedia, Resistance Base LX Robynsun V is referenced in a mini comic in another comic from 2016. It said "soon" in this comic so I was wondering if this was before TFA or after TLJ. Seems like it's just one of many bases that the Resistance has from time to time when needed.
