I don’t usually read on my tablet, but I downloaded Delilah Dawson’s Inquisitor: Rise of the Red Blade. I’m only a few chapters in, but this is a great Star Wars book. The character of Istar is deep, flawed and sympathetic. I’m interested to see how her character arc progresses. Dawson is a real talent.

 

I finished that recently and thought it was pretty good.

 

I still need to force myself through Phase 1 of The High Republic. God I HATE The Mother and her minions.

Yeah - I can't say that series is one of my favorites. The whole Path of the Hand (or whatever it was called) got tiring real fast.

 

I think it was like the Path of the open hand. For me me it was read the words Path of the open hand, close book.

 

Received my copy of "The High Republic Adventures: The Complete phase 1"

The last wave 3 book didn't include what happened to the team on Starlight Station - this book includes it, so now stuff from "Midnight Horizon" makes more sense.

 

Got my first High Republic toys - I have the other 2 of these on order also. Sooo excited to have a Yoda in his HR robes!

This will be my first Star Wars physical book purchase in 2018. I am excited.

 

This could be a great book. I enjoyed A New Dawn and I think JJM did a great job kicking off the new canon. Anything around the prequel era has my immediate interest.

 

Me too! I love prequel era novels. I enjoy it when they examine the Jedi at any times that aren't directly related to the films.

I believe I have 2 copies of the Tales of Light coming. Both are the Barnes and Noble exclusives w/an extra story in them. (Didn't mean to buy 2 - I thought one was a standard.)

I like that they included the other annual stories w/ MoTP. I got a UK copy of that a while ago. Nice that they're finally available here.
My SW room is a disaster. I really need to get my books out and organize them but I have mountains of stuff I'm trying to sell that's in the way. Grrr....
