I got issues 10-13 today and they came all dry this time which was good. I also sorted out all my isues so far into timeline order in my binder so that took a while but it's done now.

I'm up to issue 18. The folder looks pretty good now, but getting full very quickly. We should be getting another folder soon.

Well I've been collecting all my ones, up to 18 now. And they're going to start publising Ep2 things in it from issue 19 and onwards. There is 70something issues isn't there???

The new binder will be arriving soon, but I was just wondering, are they going to fill up all the gaps in it, like i have Chewie 1, 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, does anyone know if they're going to fill up gaps in between such things before they send out the new binder???

Love the colour of these boards as well :D

I'm pretty sure they will fill in the gaps. I have noticed these to and I can't wait for the Episode 2 information to be published. As for how many issues are in the set, I have no idea but I hope it's more than 75 because the Star Trek Fact Files are up to over 230.

We have the Star Trek fact files. Sorry, I'll rephrase that - my dad has the Star Trek fact files and there's like 10 folders or something like that. Personally I don't care about Star Trek and I'll stick the the better choice - Star Wars!

Excellent. I would guess that the sections will eventually break down so that there will be one section per folder, as with other periodical series.

inztantkarma - you're not the only one doing that... my friend does that, he just leaves them exactlly the way he gets it. He believes that in time they will start to rip and ware out, and they probably will but personally I like to keep them in the folders.

About it being divided into sections per folder, I don't think they will do that because there are 6 sections and around 75 issues that would mean that around 11 issues would go per folder and that wouldn't fill them up, but as usually I might be wrong... But I would like if that would happen because I've got these gaps in my first folder and i've already filled it up, and I dont know how to sort it out... ohwell

I hope they are going to make more then 75 issues. I think they should keep going if it's a success :)

Or they continue it just around the time of Ep3 because I would like to see Ep3 aspects get mentioned.

Yes so would I. It wouldn't be fair to just end it when Episode 3 hasn't even been released. I say they should include it as well.

something has been grinding away at the back of me noggin for some time now... in fact file number 3... under Vader's Revenge it says "Vader went to cut the old man down, but found that Kenobi had vanished"

now i realise this kind of jedi vanashing thread is littered around the place.. but i don't think i've seen this mentioned.. It's suggesting Obi vanished before being struck by Vader not as a result of it..

So just how plugged in to the mainstream are the people who churn out these mags. Because we all remember all the yadda yadda about jedi pulling a david copperfield being explained in Episode II... it wasn't.

In the OT it alwasys looks like Obi vanishes before being struck but you kind of figured it was as near as they could get with the effects at the time. So is this GL explaining things after the fact, making some of the glaring things in the OT fit in even better.

So is intent to strike Obi down enough.... Is that why the emperor feels just getting Luke to try and strike him is all but enough to ensure he slides into the dark side...

or is it all just a... DOH! ... ooppsss.... we done bad by the magazine... HMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmnnnNNNn disturbing this puzzle is....

There's a few things in some of the issues that don't exactly gel right.. some of the "Stats blocks" about characters don't even match the official SW.com site, even though they're in the same format, albeit with the headings in different orders.
I'd say read them ,enjoy them, sure, but don't go staking your life on them in a canon/noncanon discussion. :)

I always thought that Obi-Wan Kenobi vanished using some kind of 'Force Power' before Vader sliced at him with his lightsaber.

Is anyone else having trouble finding the mags in newsagents, all the places I usually get it from have none.

That's the main reason why most people subscribe because the newsagents won't keep selling them. None of the newsagents down here sell them anymore I've noticed.

I dont buy them, but I notice that they usually have a load of them at inaloo (in the newsagents near k-mart)

Of course, I dont know where you live so this might be a little out of your way ;)
    But they're almost always there..
