A/V Star Wars Galaxy of Creatures/Galactic Pals

Oh I never did either. I just watched the cutscenes on youtube.

Come to think of it, I imagine a lot of people didn't play it, so it is still a shockingly and impressively obscure choice for a creature, even if it wasn't totally new. Given often interesting stuff from lesser known material can easily fade into obscurity, I am still happy to see this creature get a name and homeworld.

 

Still not sure if the Kamoradan is the creature from the bad batch or not. Overall shape is similar, but some things since different - in particular that seemed more fish like compared to this thing's turtle design...though honestly it is hard to get a good look at the bad batch creature.

Also, interesting that we see buildings on Kamino, given that the Porgs on Batuu would put this series post-TLJ. Did Kaminoans return to their homeworld, or was this just an incident from way before that episode, since some droids can last centuries.

Am I overthinking a cute kids' thing? Yes, yes I am.

 

Hmmmm.... I thought they only destroyed Tipoca and the other clone facilities, not all the cities? (I remember there was a long discussion about this here when that episode came out... although nothing was really resolved because I don't think any official word was made one way or another)

 

I thought the clone reported to Rampart that everything was destroyed, with the landing platform only spared because it was top secret even from the empire.

 

The kamoradon is confirmed as the creature from Bad Batch; the Databank has updated the former "Kamino sea monster" page.

 

I mean, I think most of us figured that was the case. But it's nice to get confirmation.

 

I like how, because it's for kids, they try (and kinda fail) to dance around the fact that both those creatures are absolute nightmare fuel.
